  1. I’ve been on many Oceania cruises and never pre-booked for dinner. Once onboard you can find the dinner reservation desk and give them your preferences. I have often called a restaurant and been able to get same evening reservations. If all else fails, try to meet the food and beverage manager and express your difficulty and ask if he or she will please help you. . It has been my experience that tables magically appear at the desired times.

  2. In my experience on Oceania cruises, they do an excellent job of catering to dietary restrictions. If you notify guest services of your needs in advance of the cruise, they will provide you with menu selections/preparations that meet your needs a day in advance for you to make selections. The maître d’ in the dining venue will have a written sheet to hand to your waiter when you are seated. They are accustomed to adjusting meals for passengers when given sufficient notice, and are gracious about it. Enjoy your cruise.

    Hi all

We are sailing Barcelona/Istanbul/Jerusalem(we've not decided where we will disembark yet) on board Nautica in August.

We will be flying to/from U.K

Has anyone had experience with luggage forwarding companies ?

     Both to/from cruises?

    Any caveats?

    Thanks

I have used Luggage Free several times.  I had good service each time. Pleasant to work with.

  4. Thank you for posting this.  It is always good to know what to expect in these strange times.  Will be on Riviera for the May 7 Ravenna to Barcelona cruise. Will expect now to do some waiting at the Venice airport for the bus to Ravenna.  Looking forward to your next post.  Any recommendations for great restaurants, tours, etc. along the way will be appreciated.

  5. Hi everyone,

This is Phyllis (TravelLoverBySea). Mom and I did a 71 day Oceania cruise a few years ago and they organized a periodic meet and mingle for the 24 passengers who were on the entire cruise. I believe the the cruisecritic passengers had several as well. Ours was a before dinner cocktail get together. Someone has to get the ball rolling.

    Phyllis
