We loved the Freedom and her San Juan itinerary last July. St Lucia was by far our favorite. We went with a local guide and toured the entire beautiful island. Never been on Vision and have grown children so can't speak for that ship.

thank youFeasible? Certainly. Risky? Quite a bit. The are no bus schedules. Buses are minivans, owned by the driver, and he leaves when he feels like it i.e. when there's enough passengers to make it worth while. So your return trip cannot be predicted. You could take a bus one way and taxi back. Lots of taxis available there. -
Is it feasible to take the local bus to Nelsons Dockyard and be back in St Johns by 1300 for a booked shore excursion at 1330 if the boat docks at 8am in port?
Thank you

We loved the adventure Kart Expedition tour when we went last year. They go fairly fast it had just rained so super muddy potholes and they have 2 scenic stops.

The curtains also got pulled quite a bit on our cruise last year on the Legend, but the leave them open unless someone complains.

I got a handmade necklace from one of the shops in Skagway. Watched the guy make it. A pipe made from an antler for my dad in Ketchikan. And I love the glacier soap I got in Juneau. We also tried the beer made from Spruce tips in Skagway. I collect beer glasses from all the craft breweries I visit so that was an interesting addition to my collection.

1)
2) Bring a small "gift" for your cabin steward from your hometown. I bring a t-shirt from our local area, but any souvenir will do. I wrap it in cellophane and add some candy and then put a note on the outside with a quick hello message (basic info about who we are and how excited we are about this cruise). I carry it on board, and put it on the top of the bed as soon as we board.
Which brings me to 4) bring small pre-made cello envelopes with a $2.00 tip (and again I add candy and a small pre-printed thank you) for room service.
I Love this tip! So doing this on our September cruise

Thanks! I was looking to book them in September. Now I'm excited. I try to book at least one food tour wherever I go

Will Royal Caribbean credit shore excursions if they offer a better deal then when you paid for them? Or do you have to cancel and start over? The sale theyre having right now will save me $100 more than when I bought them. Thanks!:):)
