If you use a TA' date=' the upsell offer will come to your TA. It is then up to them to forward the offer to you. My TA does that both by e-mail and phone call to be sure I see it ASAP. Yes, there are TAs who do not forward the info to their clients. This makes no sense since they will receive increased commission if you take the upgrade. Perhaps they feel the amount isn't worth their effort...more likely it is a corporate policy thing.[/quote']

 

 

If you know that your TA does NOT forward upsell offer at all, is it possible to call the cruise line (Princess) directly from time to time to inquire about that?

6/26/18 - Booked OV (Obstructed Oceanview Guarantee) for $650 pp (Casino rate) on Island Princess, NB Vancouver to Whittier. No cabin assigned.

 

7/6/18 - Received upsell offer for $179 pp to move to Balcony.

 

7/10/18 - Took the offer and got a Premium Balcony (B2)on Caribe Deck.

How close to the sailing date when they start doing upsell offer? Is it usually offered through email on file?

Be prepared for flight delays to Puerto Iguazu. Ours was delayed over 3 hours, and I have read that delays are not uncommon for this route. The airport is about 30 minutes from Puerto Iguazu, and the only transportation I know of is a taxi. We stayed a couple of miles outside of town (Grand Crucero), but, if I did it again, I'd find a hotel in Puerto Iguazu.

 

 

 

You can take the local bus to/from Iguazu Falls for just a couple of dollars. The bus terminal is on Av. Cordoba, and the bus drops you at the entrance to the park.

 

 

Is the taxi from airport to Puerto Iguazu hotel in downtown fixed priced? Fixed price negotiable? Or metered? Will I have to buy a taxi voucher inside the Iguazu airport before heading out?

For the local bus to/from Iguazu Falls, should we buy one way or round trip ticket starting from the bus terminal on Av. Cordoba? Is the ticket counter open before the first bus in the morning or do we buy bus ticket from the machine? Lastly, are there multiple kinds of bus to Iguazu Falls run by different companies and is the Falls the last stop?

Is the a preferred time of the day that you recommend to take the high speed boat ride under the Fall? I understand you can take the boat from either Argentina or Brazil side. Which side do you prefer and why?

Only if you had loaded the deal on to your card before the payment was made. If not, and you still have a balance, load the deal and make another payment, or buy some OBC if the cruise is paid in full.

Does one need to buy at least $500 OBC in order to get the $100 refund?

Is this onboard credit refundable if one can’t spend the entire $500 OBC?

Looking for the Princess Crown 8/26/17 Scandinavian sail and saw that it is currently on the 40% off summer sale. My questions are:

1. How long has this 40% off sale been on?

2. Any idea when Princess may switch to a different sale with onboard credit, etc.? Another words, how often does Princess switch promotion?

3. How do I find the pricing history of this cruise to confirm that this 40% off sale is really a big deal good sale that I should just go ahead and snap it?

4. Is there any website that tracks the cruise pricing history or trend?

5. Is there anyway to find the load factor (cabin occupancy rate) to help make decision whether it is worth to wait for the last minute close-in sale?
