Which one is better, "Acropolis & Plaka District by Foot" or "The New Acropolis Museum & Plaka District". What is the difference?

Those who picked this cruise belong to three major categories: 1. Those who had 6-10 cruises and running out of options, 2. Those with Ukranian roots. 3. Those who are intrigued by the uniqueness of the region and its rich culture & history. I belong to the 1st & 3rd group. I did not set my expectations too high, mainly because this is a new cruise in a country that just came out of the Soviet era. You will be disappointed if you use Grand European Cruise as your standard.

I was also getting worried about not seeing any review aboutthis trip until I saw this one. We arealso leaving in August 25 from Kiev to Odessa. My wife picked this cruise forunknown reason and he has not told me why. I thought it would be an uninterestingcruise with the same boring and expected excellent service from Viking (my 6th). But after reading the reviews in this thread, it appears to be exciting…inthe sense that we won’t know what to expect until we get there. Hehehe…

We were DV2 with Silver Spirits package on West Indies Explorer. The first day I requested rose wine for me and Ginger Ale for my husband who is a non drinker. We received premium Ginger Ale and tonic water (Schweppes) and wine was replenished as needed.

We also had no difficulties with the size of cabin. We rearranged the coffee table/chair arrangement to create a bit more floor space and the room was great.

Did they allow you to have Silver Spirits Package and not for your husband? In River Cruise (we had five), they did not allow that. I asked because my wife does not drink. I guess they are afraid that we would share the drinks. Am I wrong?
