Did "expedited" from the west coast to east (PA)- it only took 9 days from our mailing to our receiving them back.

Hello! First time posting here! :) We are cruising in August on Empress of the Seas. I booked an excursion and decided I wanted to do a different one on that day, so I attempted to make this change online. However, it isn't letting me apply the amount paid for the initial excursion to the cost of the new one. My issue is that I used a VISA gift card to pay for the excursion, so having it applied back to the original form of payment will not work for me since I no long have the card. I sent an email to customer service, as i can never get off of hold on their 800 number. Anyone else experience this or have any insights onto how to get the original amount credited toward my new excursion?
