Wow it sounds amazing , we fly to ship tomorrow it's our 1st cruise , never done this before, a bit apprehensive to diy ,I get a bit worked up if I don't know exactly where to go. So thank you all for your help .:D

Has anyone done Venice on their own? I'm wondering how easy it is? How far from the ship is st.marks square. Which vaporetto do you catch? Anyone gone to the islands of mural, burano, then st marks is it doable in time !!? We would like an over all impression rather than in depth. So not wanting to go in glass museum ,maybe stay on vaporetto and view the islands from the water then go to st .marks. ? Any ideas please .:D

Sounds lovely ! I did read 21.00pm on malta port timetable, but an email from p and o says 20.00pm .Don't know if there's a time difference going on there.

Thanks all, we would normally wear sundress and t shirt and shorts in hotels on holiday, and wouldn't go in swimwear, good to know we don't need to dress "up" then change again for the day at hand!

Hi 1st time cruising and I can't seem to find an answer, to the dress code for breakfast if you don't eat in the buffet do you need to wear long trousers and collared top for men? Could you wear shorts and t shirt in the main dining room for breakfast and lunch or is there somewhere else that does breakfast on the oceana. Thank you.

Thank you Josy! It leaves at 21.00 pm , is it likely the drill will be done separately with the earlier arrivals? I think we can assume we will be on second sitting, although I thought they did a send off from port party, but people will be at dinner ,is that normal ? :confused: Sorry for all the questions!

Hi can anyone help, we are going on our 1st cruise, with p and o, and we are due to land in Malta at 18.30pm ,this seems rather late to be embarking the ship as I know dinner is served first sitting at this time, also I'm assuming that we would need to have a safety briefing, before it departs. I can't find any details of what time the ship leaves the dock, and realise that they will be aware of the timings of the flights as it was all part of the p and o package. But would appreciate anyone who has done this cruise or similar timings who could reassure me.! Thank you.:D

Hi all, hope someone can help! We are going on our 1st p and o cruise, we fly to Malta only landing at 18.30 which seems late , I can't find any info on the time the ship will sail, also I was assuming safety drill etc .will need to happen before we sail ? Not to mention evening meals starting? I realise they are organising all the flights and ship arrangements so it must be normal , but I can't get my head round it. If anyone has any help or done this cruise I would be grateful.:D
