This week the guy I book my cruises with (works for carnival) gave me the fax # to use as he isn't allowed to grant them anymore. I faxed over the proof and like 48 hours later I got a email saying it was approved. I was worried at first, but It was a very easy process. I even get another email with the booking showing the OBC on it. I was told it needs to be 30 days within the booking to grant it.  

Which do you would be the safest to leave the vehicle ? Which do you recommended ? They all seem to be about half the cost of going on site.

it sounds like park port Canaveral is the place to and about half the price.  Any other recent reviews of them ?

Thanks for the price matching tip that was on the 1st page as I was able to save $33 per person booking directly with Carnival. So as of 9-18 it still works.

As a hardcore country music fan that goes to a lot of concerts your best bet will be live music around the ship and hope you find someone that's average. Karaoke as someone mentioned typically will have a lot of country songs and leaving from Texas should raise the % a little bit of hearing country songs. The few production shows I've seen on various lines were very rough and full of stereotypes. I will be on the breeze soon so hopefully that one will be better. I would have your music downloaded on your phone for when your laying around the ship.

The skillet cakes were amazing and better then the anything on the old menu imo. I was still able to get the cereal crusted French toast in the dr seuss breakfast. 

looks like this is back to being closed this week on the horizon 

its all working now I saved my 15% on excursions

the cakes look amazing cant wait to try them in a few weeks

following along as Its only 18 days for me so perfect time also thanks for the fun times and menu pics.

I posted on John Healds FB page about it and he replied as well as a few others who was on the horizon last week. One person said someone sent back a steak and the 2nd time around it looked better. I'll be on the horizon 12 - 1 so I'm gonna try and order the chocolate pancakes and old french toast and see if they will do it. I'll be sure to take pics of everything.

Looks like the quality of steak isn’t near as good as the old menu

Yea I over looked that atleast some Verizon of French toast is still on the menu I guess I could always order cereal and make my own like the old one.

does anyone else think the menu is kinda hard to read ?  Seems like it would be a little easier to read if it was on 2 pages however that’s not a big deal 

just going off looks the old French toast I’m greatly gonna miss with the cereal on top 

I knew that had been working on this so I was afraid. I don't see French toast or pancakes on the list at least steak and eggs made the cut

so they aren't showing celestial strings going forward or just a one week thing?

nice to see this apparently we have the same taste in ship as we was on the harmony at the time earlier in the year. ahh that guys burger

I knew this has been rumored for a while and extremely excited for this as it will allow me (and many others) a chance to drive instead of fly as it’s about 4 hours closer then Miami

Thanks neighbor! (Im the guy from the thriving metropolis of Fairmount :cool: ) Enjoyed it and looking forward to Harmony in 467 days! :cool::D My last two were on Carnival Magic. LOVED all the included food options!

You need to book one in between 467 days is way to long to wait and i'll be sure to think of you the next time I drive past the taste e freeze

The buttons on the elevator don’t really change colors when you press them. They go to a slightly brighter color of blue so you have to hit the button a few times to make sure your floor is pressed.

I got the wow band and I thought it was worth the $5 it wasn't perfect and I still carried my key card around at times. I wish it wasn't a watch look and just a bracelet as mine did fall off a few times.

The cup holders in the main show aren't big enough

I went to all the shows and there was empty seats for all of them and the ship was sold out.

The most passengers I have ever seen from outside the US If I had to guess a % I would say easily over 50.

The most thongs I had ever seen on a cruise I was counting and lost track at like 25. I even saw someone sun bathing topless on the mainpool deck. It worked out good for me, but if your easily offended by that sort of thing might have to find another area.

Not having one main pool was more of a negative then I remember

They did a good job with pool volleyball

The escape game use to be free and now its $20

I loved the cruise as always, but the Carnival Vista wins out due to the food options and lunch that I touched on. Royal wins out with the big shows, but Carnival wins out with smaller shows and the CD.

I’ve let this review drag on longer then I wanted so that’s about all I have. I have a lot of pics of around the ship since I think most people are familiar with ship I wont post them. If anyone has any questions let me know.

My next cruise for now will be on the Carnival HorizonDecember 1st

I noticed you posted a menu picture from the way finder on board. Do they list the daily menus there all week or just the on the day they serve?

the tv in the room had the menu for the remaining days on the ship it was also out front in the restaurants. Is that what you mean ?

Do you have to get a full plate with each lobster tail?
