Thanks everyone! I feel pretty good about our room thanks to you all.

Anyone stay in this cabin? I can't seem to find a review on it earlier than 2015. How was it recently? It's just me and my husband and we are wanting somewhat quiet and clean. I decided on the Breeze this time over RC because the deal was just so good, but trying to minimize kids in hallways, a lot of noise. Like the quick access to the Serenrity deck and spa too. Thanks!

Ok all you cruise people. I'm starting to have second thoughts about the Carnival Breeze based on all the reviews I see about Carnival's constant fights, low class people, long lines for everything and crowded pools, basically "Walmart of the seas" type of stuff. Having never cruised before, I'm wondering for us two adults should we switch to the Royal Carribean Liberty of the Seas? Anyone done both? It's more expensive, but not incredibly so with deals happening and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to have a more relaxing vacation vs a potential "party" ship. We are embarking out of Galveston, or I would choose Celebrity as I love what I see if their stuff online.

We don't drink, so that's not even a consideration for us btw-looking for relaxing, good ports, low key type of experience. I've liked what I've seen online of the Breeze, but am just not sure since we've never cruised before. This RCC I'm looking at goes to Cozumel, Georgetown, Grand Cayman, and Falmouth, Jamaica. The Breeze is going to Key West, Nassau, and Freeport. Appreciate the help!

So we are sailing to Freeport as one of our ports with Carnival next year and I really want to see Gold Rock beach because I hear it's beautiful. But there doesn't seem to be any official ship excursions there. Can anyone offer tips on ways to get there and /or excursions you've done there. Or is it too far away for a day trip?

I didn't want to be under dressed for the steakhouse (and we have reservations on the first sea day and the very last sea night) since it sounded like at least one of those times would be Elegant nights. To me a maxi is just as comfortable as shorts or capris, so that'll work perfect! Now I just have to convince the husband to wear a tie on vacation.

And Drazil65-thanks! We are very excited about the balcony. I can't wait to just have some days sitting and reading and doing NOTHING.

Hey everyone! So my husband and I are taking our first cruise ever on the Breeze in May 2018. (Spa balcony) We are very excited and in my OCD planning state, I've been reading these forums pretty much every day since I made our booking last week. You've all been extremely helpful btw! One question I've had is in regards to Elegant night. Is there a way I can find out this far in advance what exact days on our trip Elegant night will be? I made two reservations for the Steakhouse and I'm afraid I made them both on Elegant nights 😳 (Our cruise is 7 day, so I think we have two, correct?) To be honest, I am fine with wearing a nice summer maxi and jewelry to the MDR, or specialty restaurant, but wasn't really wanting to have to worry about packing a nice cocktail or evening gown and all that goes with that. Any help in this regard would be appreciated!

We are sailing in May 2018 on on the Breeze and when I booked last week they were available and are still showing available today. Maybe it has to do with how many Platinum and Suite owners are booked along with you? I also have not completed my online booking because I still need to purchase my passport.
