When we were on in March 2022, the mini golf wasn't useable as the floor needed fixing (spongy) - do you kow if this was fixed and if it is up and running - Can't wait to be back on her this coming February.

I agree about the sports court … my teen boys love the basketball aspect on Escape. 

Escape has the best smoking areas … Spice H20, at the back of the ship by the bar. Deck 16 at Waves outdoor bar. Only indoor space is if you play in the casino.

Really depends how much time you spend in your cabin ….our family of four (boys 15, 17) don’t spend much time, so it is fine.

Hi everyone .. so my hubby is a smoker and likes to sit with his drink and enjoy a smoke in the open air. Escape has two perfect area - Waves Bar and Spice H20. What other ships have similar areas? Do we know what Prima and Viva will have?

Ok … not happy. This means it will cost us $600 more for our family.

Grotto and Spice H2O are great spot on the Escape. Escape just came out of dry dock and nothing was changed to that area 🙂

I am looking to book a private tour while in port … perhaps to see Blue Hole and maybe river tubing. Can anyone recommend a great tour guide? There will be 8 of us. What did you do on your tour that you would recommend or not recommend.

Syd Norman's Pour House is a music venue with drinks.  We enjoyed it on the Breakaway, which was our last cruise in January 2020.  They had a fantastic house band.  The musicians and singers were excellent!  We went to every show they performed.  

Agree -we loved Syd Normans on the Breakaway too

So from the cruise deck layouts, it looks like the 5 O’clock somewhere has been changed to Syd Norman’s ... but that is the only changes I see. I am just curious if they did new carpeting, upgrading anywhere etc

Has anyone heard of any changes?

I am really wanting to book a day here while our ship is in port. There will be 8-12 of us. Our ship is in port from 8:00am until 4:00pm. My first question is - is this enough time? What would be a good/safe time to leave / grab a taxi back to port - I am think 2:00pm?

will we be able to get one taxi/van or will we have to take two? Any hints / steps to follow to make this easy?

Please tell me there isn’t going to be a go cart track .... there is so little outside space on the ships already. We just booked the Escape again for March 2020 ... one of the main reasons we chose to sail on her again is because my boys love the sports deck (that Bliss and Encore don’t have). Also not keen on all the new added items (karts and laser tag) that have an up charge.

I do like coffee ... and water would be a bonus. Do you know if you can take a couple of bottles of water off with you in port?

You don't need a spread sheet, it's not rocket science. At the $11 Joe mentioned, 5 drinks would be break even. Pretty simple, if you drink moderately at home buy it. Remember it includes bottled water, Gatorade, and specialty coffees. Every time we pass a bar we get a couple of bottles of water and store them in our cabin fridge. The coffee is excellent and blows away the Lido deck coffee. To us, it is a no brainer.
