  1. Currently our Sept Allure cruise will be our most expense BUT family of 5 and I lucked into kids sail free savings of almost $2000!

But I am plotting and planning for November 2018 I want to book star class at least once for DH and I, 15th anniversary! Looks to be $8-$9,000 for the cruises available over our anniversary.

  2. UPDATE: We have finally had contact from RCCL who was in touch with the Port Agent in Villefrance and obtained the tracking number of the envelope (thank the Lord they registered it!!). According to the on-line tracking tool it was sent on Saturday (this steams me - it was supposed to have left on Thursday), at 5:30 pm last night it was in Marseille and at 7:00 am today it was in Paris. No way to know how long the Paris-Barcelona transit will take or how long for delivery.

Question for everybody: Given the above, would you wait for the delivery, hoping it arrives today so we can make our flight tomorrow morning or attend at the Consulate and have new Passports issued, knowing that process will take 2 days and will necessitate cancelling our flights and re-purchasing them for the 2nd time?

Any contact from your travel insurance yet?

  3. Two lucky people get the "master" bedroom, four get the second small room with bunks and two get the sofa bed in the living room (awkward I would guess if the others want to stay up late).

Thank you! I was originally shocked at the prices for it but I keep coming back to it for the all inclusive price and seeing as the "extra" people are lower per person makes it more reasonable price point to me. That and booking 2 years out.

  4. This is what I'm thinking of doing!

For experienced cruisers, I know there is a limit to the dollar value of the drinks per day ($12, right?). Hubby and I drink craft beers, wines (low to mid range supermarket prices), and a variety of cocktails. We don't drink bud light or white zin is my point, I guess -- no offense to anyone who does. :D My question is this: Are the drinks that are available in the deluxe package worthwhile? (If you were to tell me that bud light is the only beer and white zin is the only wine, I would reconsider purchasing the package.)

I want to know that when I spend $800+ that I won't have a surprise bill at the end of the week because "normal" drinks were actually $15/glass. Does that make sense? We're not super picky, promise... I just want to make sure I'm budgeting correctly. :)

Any opinions will be greatly appreciated!

$12 ($13 on Oasis class) plenty of top shelf is included. You pay difference if you order a $15 glass of wine, not the total

  5. When my wife mentioned how much she liked the loccitane lotion, two large bottles appeared in our room from the secret stash. [emoji6]

That's good to know! Traveling with 5 in our jr and was worried that my daughter would use all the shampoo! At least I know I can get some more if she does that.
