Are the entertainers at the bars still performing?  Have you found one or two whom you really enjoyed?  If the major shows are still cancelled next week, I may just hang out in the bars.

It is sad that the shows are temporarily cancelled.  Hopefully, the other options offered will be entertaining.  I enjoy the shows and will miss them if they aren't back next week.

Choose the one that has Glacier Bay.

I have done the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Watching combo, and it was great. This year we're doing our whale watching at Icy Strait and panning for gold in Juneau.

I actually enjoy playing the slots and video poker games on NCL, even though I don't always win. On the video poker side, I have had far better luck playing the Ultimate Times games at low amounts. I think the best that I've done on that is about a $500 profit playing nickels. I have gone home with a couple of forms to submit to Uncle Sam for small jackpots on the slots. I go into the casino knowing that I have a better chance of losing than winning. I always hope I sit in the right chair. Good luck and have fun!

I have loved all my cruises on NCL, but my two favorites have been Glacier Bay from Seattle on the Pearl and Canada and New England from Boston to Quebec City on the Dawn. Both places had such fabulous scenery, and I truly enjoyed the excursions that I took. Also, I enjoyed spending some time in the departure cities before the cruise.
