  1. Hi! My boyfriend is planning to take his parents on their first cruise and we were wondering if we can get any recommendations on what activities to do in Cozumel and Progresso. Both of his parents have a weak knee and his mother had surgery just last year. Would the ruins be too strenuous? Many beach recommendations? They probably won't be too interested in shopping, but touring the city wouldn't be too much of an issue as long as the walk isn't too long?

    Thank you!!

  2. Hi~ We wanted to see as much of St. Thomas as we can this July so we decided to rent a car. We also wanted to do as much snorkeling, as we reserved this port for all our "snorkels" of the cruise. :D

I was told to "call" the rental - budget- when we get there for a pick up, but... I wasn't planning on getting an international plan while on the cruise from my cell phone coverage provider - verizon. Has anyone had experience using their cell phones while cruising? or on the islands?:o

If not, is there a different way to call the rental service once we get there?

We wanted to do Mtn Top - 40 min max, Hull Bay 1-2 hrs, Quick stop at Magens Bay (optional and only for the view), and Secret Harbor before we end our day (8am to 5 pm). Would this be too much even on private transportation?

  3. The arboretum at Magens is a unique picturesque spot, but because of the admission fee it might be pricey depending on the size of your group.

I think that most of the beaches that are mentioned on cruisecritic are getting more crowded.

Oh wow~ I wasn't aware of the arboretum. Thank you for the info.

I figured most of the beaches would start getting crowed, so hoping to visit the ones rarely mentioned here...

  4. Hi~ I'm planning on renting a car and driving around the island and enjoy some beach and snorkeling.

We wanted to visit a couple beaches and wondered how crowed Magens Bay is in July.

Would it be better to skip this beach and go for the smaller beaches and save time?

Or is the view really worth dealing with the crowd?

  5. I'm reading in the descriptions of the cabin that we get a special blend of bath products.

I usually bring my own shampoo because I usually don't like the ones offered.

Are these quality products that I would like using?

And how strong is the hair dryer? Can I take that out of my packing list as well? O.o

    Thanks for your input!!

  6. Hi~ We are booked for a cruise on the Aqua Class this July and we are so excited about the perks that come with it, especially having Blu as our dinning.

But two questions, I'm assigned to Traditional Dinning @6.

    1. Does that mean Traditional Dinning at Blu @ 6 or at MDR? If it's at the Blu, do we have to go @ 6 everyday or can we go between the times 6-9?

    2. If we are assigned to Blu, does that mean we can't eat in the MDR? or- can we also order MDR menus at the Blu?

I'm excited to eat at the Blu, but just wanted more options and try the MDR as well since we are on a 7 night cruise~ Thanks!!
