My first cruise had no idea what to expect but now the anticipation just makes me smile. The Eurodam is a new ship for me to explore. I love the thermal suite and have already booked it for 14 days. I am excited to hear the BB King group and meet a couple who I meet 5 years ago on a cruise! One and a half days more of work. Christmas arrives early for me when I fly out to FLL on Sat am🎄.

Is it not the anticipation if cruising that brings back memories of Christmas childhood unabandon joy?

Ok do my boat sails on Sunday. Yes, I still have to work the next two and a half days but since last weekend this smile rarely leaves my face. When people ask why are you smiling in the freezing rain. I say I am so happy that next week it will be different . If I tell them I am going on a two week cruise to sun and surf some smile back others grumble and just walk away.

I maybe at work but my heart and ins have left for island time. Now this is what makes me smile. Anticipation of wonders to come for 2 whole weeks🎄🎉!

Once again, solo sailors get the shaft. Since this new promo is limited to outside cabins and above, any solos are paying a full double rate. But when it comes to giving the benefits, they get the bennies for a single person.

Since they are paying for two, they should get benefits for two.

I agree as I cruise solo too now that DD is married.

Apparently it will be in effect for the Collectors Cruise on the Eurodam December 22nd.

DD got me one set on cubes several years ago that I use for unmentionables. One for gym gear, and one for swimsuits and cover up. I like the roll method better than package. I love my CC friends.

It rewards you for certain on board expenditures. Earn points for select inboard and preboard purchases including excursions. After my upcoming cruise I can check in on my acct at HAL for details. Thought someone might know about this program.

I ordered a few things for my cabin a couple of days ago and received an email yest about a new program called Signature Plus by Lifestyle Collection. Anyone know the scoop?

Ok printed and put together all your replies and went on the prowl. Middle class so went to top rate stores and looked at what the best suitcases contained and what I wanted . Decided soft sided versus hard sided . My carry one is hard sided but I need the extra pockets and capacity the soft sides offer.

Next looked at the deep compartment and if it had any extra pockets (I like those)! On the other side I guess you would say lid side did it have pockets for stuff or just a single zippered side.

Following your guidelines then went to Kohl's, Ross and Marshall's to look at what they had.

I found a soft side extra deep 25 in Sharper image 360 4 wheels that I adore. It has pockets on the deep side and lid side please two zippered pockets on the outside. Because of all the Christmas sales I got it for $40.🎁

Now just have to work on my just say no to excess clothing and I am set.

I helped one of my children at a church event in VA in Oct. Left my hanging toiletry bag and the person who has it will be in Knoxville in Jan. Now can go out and buy another when I have a great one or the shoe organizer. I love keeping everything up and off the counter so it can be cleaned. Decided will do the cheap shoe organizer.

I remember studying these boards all the time before my first cruise. Shared that experience with my daughter and we did use the plastic hanging shoe bag.Now as a solo which would be lighter and better?

I am a solo traveler (cannot hide things in honeys suitcase)

I am a maturing female (not young spring chick try just entered my 6th decade)

After 40yrs of nursing I have had 2 knees replaced and have a funky lower back issue which might require a fusion in the future.

So I am thinking light weight, 4 spinner wheels, capability to anchor my carry on without tipping everything over.....and then taking lots of ones and fives and paying others to tote and fetch (along with batting my eyelashes, they don't sag yet to light.)

Since I said I was a nurse and pay double for any room don't want to break my cruise fund before I start. I want to spend money on visiting spas in the ports as I have seen all these islands!🎅

Ok used the ideas made a list but it in my suitcase. Tonight going in for a pruning . If I take one suitcase and pack a tote in it for gifts I will just pay for the second bag coming home. Do you guys use a hanging toiletry bag?

Ok first thing this morning hit the closet for cleaning, changing seasons taking out cruise clothing and find hidden Christmas gifts. After filling and removing 3 30 gal plastic bins along with2 39 g garbage bags of giveaways for KARM I am ready for winter and have out all my cruise gear. Now how do I pear it down, be prepared for Christmas and NYE on board!

I have been a RN for 40 years. I can wake upon a second and respond to emergencies. That explained I need a light weight sounds home for my cabin to block noise. Any suggestions?

they do have lockers at the excursion sites as DD and I used them when we swam with the stingrays once.

We wore t-shirts over our swimsuits and many ladies had cover ups.
