Crew member Gede Darsana posted a picture of himself standing next to the ship today. I think it looks like they are tidying things up in prep for the handover but who knows!  This picture does give you a close up of the Cabana deck immediately above him however.

We did a Cruisetour in 2018, with Coral as the ship - loved it! We went from late May to early June, so there still was snow in the higher elevations. We joked about going from spring to winter and back to spring again as we travelled between lodges on the land portion. You can also get a clear view of Glacier Bay, etc., from the Promenade Deck.

We were on that cruise as well!   It was a great time to see Alaska we thought!  Love the Coral Princess.

Thank you for the excellent video. My first reaction was, is this going to be all completed within 2 months.

That is our question also- looks like a lot left to finish!   But it is going to be beautiful when complete.

Same with the Sky 3/12 TA out of Port Everglades.

We walked right on the Sky Princess March 5.   Arrived about 15 minutes before our scheduled time of 11:30 - noon and she sent us on through.  I wonder what the difference was between the two cruises?

  5. Princess also has Ranger on board during the Glacier Bay.   I thought they did a fabulous job with narration.   Our experience was very similar to that as described by iamaqt2 above with on board naturaalists giving presentations and wildlife spotting announcements.

  6. We just did the Lickrish food tour last week.   It was very good.    Our tour guide was Janelle.   We learned a lot about the history of the island and also Bajan food.   There were several food stops.   It was well worth the money.    We took a tour of the Agapey Chocolate Factory before and then walked over to the start point for the 11 am food tour.    We ended the food tour back at the Chocolate factory for some yummy ice cream and were able to purchase some chocolate to take home without carrying it around all afternoon.

We are heading to Belize in April 2020 on Legend.  I have browsed the Ports of Call area of course, but since it was mentioned here specifically, what did all of you enjoy about Belize?  We were thinking of a tour of one of the ruins.  I gather than just hanging around in the port area is pointless/dangerous.

Yes!   Definitely plan an excursion.   We have toured the ruin of Xunantunich.   The views from on top of the pyramid are great.   I would like to tour the Lamanai ruin sometime.   Twice we have done a zip line/ cave tubing excursion.   So much fun.  We used Taco and Cindy as tour guides for this trip.     The reef at Belize is one of the largest in the world.   Sometime I want to do a snorkeling trip when we are there.

I think we did a ship tour to go the ruins just because of time concerns.

Have fun planning and enjoy your time in Belize!
