How does one book a single cabin on Edge? They don't show up on site

The French toast fingers for breakfast!

Fares are way out of line

Very happy to have the Oosterdam sailing out of Tampa. Looking forward to an early December cruise.

Sunward II in the 80's.

Just heard on our local news that heavy sea fog is setting in along the coast.

Sailed on the Ocean Princess many years ago and loved her. Wonderful size.
We were lucky enough to book an aft mini suite and it was spectacular!
Would sail that class of ship again in a heartbeat.

I wish that Playa was a regular port call. It is so much prettier and more interesting than Cozumel.

I just got off the Brilliance on the 20th. It was my second Royal cruise and I was really quite happy with the experience.
I'll have to agree about the elevators. They were the slowest of any of my previous cruises.
MDR food was quite good and our servers were wonderful. We had My Time dining and never waited for a table. In fact, we asked for and got the same table everynight.
Casino smoke aside, IMHO it was the least smokey casino I've experienced in many a cruise.
Like belly buttons, everyone has opinions, but overall I'll probably do the 5 day on this ship next year.

Any ideas on what ship will take over the short cruises from Port Everglades?
-
Same here. The Martini bar was out of Christiana vodka, but they brought a bottle up from the MDR bar.

2 days to Brilliance!

I sailed with Dottie many years ago on Holland America and she is far and away the best CD I've ever encountered.
-
It's been several years since I've cruisied on HAL, but there was a Cruise Director named Dottie on both of our Zuiderdam cruises. She was just wonderful and , at times, it seemed like there were ten of her. She was everywhere on the ship and is the only CD that I remenber on any of my cruises.

21 days til Brilliance!

Other than in the cafes, I've never had a good cup of coffee on any cruise line I've sailed.
Thanks to a previous poster's suggestion, I purchased two boxes of Starbucks Via today for my upcoming cruise. Thanks!

Perks and onboard credit are great, but when I book a cruise, it's the base price that I look at. I'll be checking other lines next time.
-
I just checked the price for a balcony cabin on the Feb. 21st, 2015 Vision sailing.
Rcl site showed a price of $4,800!

Does RCCL have Grolsch beer?

I'm going through the same thing with Celebrity. It's been over two weeks and still no refund. I spoke with customer service yesterday and was told the refund had been started, but somehow never happened. They are working on it now.
-
Celebrity clled me back in a few hours. The customer service rep was wonderful. She found out that there were not 2, but 3 booking numbers for my reservation. She is going to monitor the refund and keep me posted.
She also took my RCCL booking number and promised to hold that reservation until I get my refund.
Thanks for all your responses. I will never use a debit card to book a cruise again!

I've emailed Celebrity with all the information. Fingers still crossed.

Just an update. Today is the 10th busuiness day and still no refund. TA says payment went out from X and there's nothing else they can do. Celebrity cannot give me any information since I booked through a TA. I've got 2 days to make final payment on another cruise and that was the money for it. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for all your responses. I've learned my lesson with debit cards! When I cancelled the cruise the deposit was refunded in a few days. I've got a final payment due on the 21st of October for an RCCL cruise. I'll be paying by credit card!

I take a 5 day cruise in early December each year and have had no problems with rowdy passengers on either Celebrity or RCCL.
