After all the worries we didn't get to stop at iles du salut due to logistics issues in Barbados costing us over 6 hrs. There never was any check or discussion of yf shots before the stop was cancelled this morning

Last January I saw the Viking ship was at the pier just below down town Old San Juan. It was very close to where you would want to be to walk to see the fort or go shopping. Hopefully it will be there again in December.

I see in the write up that they change wine selections once per cruise which I guess it at the halfway point. Would there be any difference in this policy on a long cruise like the 22 day Amazon trip compared to the 8 or 15 day cruises? It certainly seems like a good package to get no matter how often they change them out.

All the pre and post day offerings on the Dec 16th Amazon cruise were cancelled by Viking last week. We got an e mail about it. It was because no rooms were available. When I called Viking they said we would be going directly from the airport to the ship when we arrive. It will be interesting to see how much things have changed since I was there on a Disney cruise last Jan.
