  1. Ok so first time cruising on the pacific jewel July 12th to the South Pacific.. I'm pre-paying for our drinks both mine and the kids but can someone give me an idea on how much spending money we'll need roughly? It'll be just me with a 14year old and a 5 year old, we have prepaid for 2 shore tours and planning on just locals for the other 3 stops. I'm more interested on what ship time is going to cost roughly. Things like snacks and activities.. hahaha it's getting so close and I'm starting to worry I haven't saved enough money..

  2. Thank you guys so much.. yeah we have a few book exchanges around my area but was trying to avoid the weight in my luggage for the domestic flight to Sydney.. will just have to leave out a few of those extra shoes I was planning on taking.. haha. I do have e books but they are just not quite the same..

  3. Hi - I've not been on the Pacific Jewel (yet... going soon) but did find that there is a library. It's shown in the link below under "activities".

There are also a few videos taken walking around the decks which show a library. I'm sure someone else will let you know how good the library is :)

Oh awesome, thanks so much.. I was looking at the deck plans and just couldn't find one.. :)

  4. Hi, first time cruiser here. Traveling on the pacific jewel July 12th and I'm wondering if they have a library? I am traveling as the only adult with two children and have already been informed by them they have it all planned out and I'm most likely to get bored waiting for them. Hahaha I can't seem to find any info on the jewel regarding a library and would love to spend an arvo reading a good book and drinking a cocktail or two.. thanks in advance for any help.. :D
