Great advice - thanks. Daughter is sensible, but could be easily led by older kids... one to ponder!

My daughter will be 8yrs and 9months when we sail - looking at these lists I think the Ensigns would be more suitable (9-11yrs)...

First post, so please be gentle!

We've cruised twice before on Celebrity (Southern Europe 2008, Northern Europe 2014), and saw a noticeable reduction in food quality between the two dates, but other than that much was similar.

We are now planning a cruise for later this year (Eclipse) and would like to know;

• Has the food remained at the same level as 2014 or further declined?
  
• Since everyone now seemingly has a "drinks package" has the atmosphere changed? ie, Busier bars, heavier drinking etc.? (We like peace & quiet so want to understand if that it's still as easy to find a quiet corner in a bar).
  
• What's the entertainment like for an 8 year old?
  
• Any suggestions for good concierge class cabins?
