 Would appreciate information about day tours in Cape Town as well as any safaris not far from Cape Town (possibly day trip or overnight)
Information about tour operators and guides to contact.
Thanks lots

I can recommend Hylton Ross, very prompt, very professional, very knowledgeable.
I enjoyed a very comprehensive tour to the Cape Point area when in Cape Town last May.
Enjoy!!!

Please check with the cruise line. We were on a cruise and if you did not take the ship's excursion, you had to get your own Russian visa. Some folks were stuck on board for 2 days as they did not heed this information.
Thanks for the note.
We are going on Viking Kirov and have our visas already.

Has anybody had experience with this company?
Thanks a million.

If it could be called a cruise, it was the "Florida" in 1948, took it several times from La Habana to Miami and back, it was overnight leaving about 6 pm and arriving around 7 am the next day.
It was fun.

Hi All
We are considering a Princess Cruise.
We have cruised already with Royal Caribbean, but are wanting to visit Trinidad. I am aware that Princess visits Trinidad but do not know which ship it is that ports there. Would someone please let me know. We have two girls aged 13 and 15 that will be cruising with us. Does Princess have good programs for the kids... all info would be greatly appreciated. Any other opinions of any of the ships or ports (good or bad) would be greatly appreciated. We are new cruisers to Princess.
Thank you!
See attached, hope it helps
Enjoy!!!

Cruised(???), more transportation than anything else, in a ship called Florida, La Habana to Miami round trip in 1948.
Probably gone by now.

Just came back from the May 7 sailing in Ocean Princess, Cape Town to Dover and thoroughly enjoyed it; some of the cities were new to me and were helpful in providing a glimpse as to how many people in the world cope with daily life.
Would not hesitate to consider a similar itinerary in the future.

Mine was around 1948 aboard the Florida (P & O) sailing from La Habana to Miami, it was more transportation than cruise because the sailing was about 12 hours. Took it several times.

Our Azamara cruise is stopping in Varna, Bulgaria on June 27. I haven't found much information and are open to suggestions. Here are a few questions: Has anyone found a private tour company or guide other than Patrick?(highly recommended on CC but not available):( What is there to do for one day in Varna? Is it easy to do on your own? Is English widely spoken?
Thanks, Pat
We went 3-4 years ago in Holland America and took the ship`s excursions. I do not recall there were many options and I do not believe the infrastructure was there yet for tourism.
Attached please find web page from Lonely Planet. Enjoy your trip!!!

I have tried Cruise Cal and it is not free and I cannot get the information I want. I too, have been on another web site that was free and you could see which ships were scheduled to be in port with your ship.
Try this, it is free.
James Tours
in St. Lucia
Posted
Just returned from a trip to St Lucia and wish to comment that James is an extremely careful and punctual guide.
We had the opportunity of touring with him and he is more fastidious than I am as in regards to time; also his narrative and comments in the tour were of value to us, we went all the way to Soufriere and back.
I also recommend him without hesitation
