I walked underneath the ropes course last October, returning to the ship from the other side instead of taking the tram back - it was competely closed at that time, although it was a beautiful day, perhaps just too late in the season.  But it looked like a lot of fun if it had been open!  And the area is just beautiful to walk through.

So great, thank you!  I sail on the 27th and these will help with planning...

I have a question:

 

On the huge veranda there seems to be a staircase leading down to somewhere. Where does this staircase lead to, and is it open and accessible?

We are booked in to that suite on the Summit departing this Saturday - we'll keep it nice for you!

We did this excursion a few years ago (via Princess, but it's the same) and it was one of our favorites, from any island. We ended up on the "Dancing Dolphin" catamaran, and the crew was amazing. they were fun, the food was good, and we are looking to repeat the experience in a few weeks when we return to St. Thomas - definitely worth it! We had our son with us on that trip, he was 8 at the time, and they let him drive the catamaran for quite a while, wearing the captain's sunglasses and hat. He still talks about how special they made him feel and what a great day it was.

Just got off the phone with La Concha - they were going to reopen to guests on Nov 1 but have now extended that to Dec 1

I had spoken with them a week ago and they said they were honoring current reservations (ours is for 11/23) are they cancelling reservations prior to 12/1? Or just not accepting new ones?
