  1. We are sailing on the Raddiance of the Seas(RCCL) on March 18,2018. This is our first Sydney/New Zealand cruise. The only tour excursion available for these three ports is a 20-hour overnight priced at $700.00 per person. You get off the ship in Milford Sound and return to the ship the following date in Dunedin. We know that this tour goes to great sights in NZ but find it too expensive. Our question to those that have been on this itinerary is as follows: If you choose to stay on the ship and sail to through these three ports in one day, what can you expect regarding sights while cruising? Keep in mind that there is a one-hour stop at each port and passengers aren't permitted to disembark (except those going on the 20-hour tour and disembarking in Milford Sound). I can't believe that most of the 2,000 plus passengers will be disembarking and going on this expensive tour. I've contacted RCCL and did not get much information. Just the itinerary for the 20-hour tour. Your help, advise and input will be highly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

  2. Hello Tusabrat,

I've just read your post and its concerns me. We're booked on the Quest for the July 5, 2013 sailing. I've not been able to find any recent reviews regarding your statement..."cabins/hallways smell so bad that people are canceling their cruises...".

Could you please direct me to those reviews. It'd be appreciated. Thank you.

  3. The Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island now charges tourists to visit its lobby. This is new & outrageous!

Now the vans & taxis drop you off at a side entrace door near the casino. You can only visit the casino & the stores next to it. In the past, you were let out by the front door and were able to enter the lobby free. When the word gets out, they're going to lose business. I understand that the resort has always charged to use its facilities( see the pricing information posted below by someone else). I often go on cruises that stop in Nassau and used to visit the Atlantis, walk in the lobby area, eat in one of its restaurants and visit the casino. Bye, Bye Atlantis. No More! It is a matter of principle.
