Just came off the Joy, we were in 8148. We thought it was the perfect location.  Very quiet, but convenient to everything we needed. We never heard any noise from the theater.

Now if they would just get Bermuda updated...🙄

We're in 8148 on the Joy 10/29/22 - happy to hear about the larger balcony!  I'll try to come back and report on noise levels after we cruise.

Yes, met my husband on Majesty of the Seas in May 1992.  I was traveling with two of my sisters, he was traveling with two college buddies.  We were all seated at the same dinner table, hit it off right away,  and spent the rest of the week together as a group.  By the end of the week, he asked me out (we were all from CT), and we've pretty much been together ever since.  Married since 1995.

Just received most of our refund for our cancelled 5/17 Oasis cruise.  We submitted the refund request on 4/17, and credit was posted on our credit card account on 5/13, so faster than expected.

For 4 passengers in 2 cabins, it was in 4 pieces - two were the port fees/taxes, two were the cruise fares, which were short some $400ish. Called Royal, and the agent could only give "limited information" because it was booked thru a TA (Costco). She said they are aware that there was a "general error" in processing the refunds, and we should have the rest by the end of the month.  I suspect it has something to do with the commission to the TA.

Sweet.

My best tablemate story goes back a ways.....long before the days of Anytime/MyTime Dining.

This was on Majesty of the Seas in 1992, to be exact. Two of my sisters and I, all single and in our 20's at the time, show up at our table to be seated with three young men, also all single and in their 20's, and all from the same home state as us. We hit it off so well that all six of us basically spent the entire cruise together, shore excursions and all. By the end of the cruise, one of those young men asked me out.

That young man and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary this fall. :D

... Still working on the difference between port and starboard.

 

Port = left (both have 4 letters) that is the only way I could remember. :rolleyes:

My dad is a Navy man and that's how he taught me to remember also :)

Also anxiously awaiting the rest of the review, we are on the Freedom Western itinerary in three weeks!
