STT is a ripoff in my opinion. Used to be favorite but we were there this week. $15 pp each way for taxi to Magens bay $5 pp entry fee and $20 per chair. Way to crowded and not near as pretty as it used to be.  We want to do a taxi tour around island with stop at beach. They said $500 for us. Um no. I could get Godfrey for like $50pp. I did not book that cause we too got in a noon and their tours started at 10. Just buyer beware

Thank you for the good info. We have never had the crazy party atmosphere on Carnival people complain about it is more we are empty nesters and want to get away from kids and have a more relaxed atmosphere. We don’t party but we aren’t dead yet either. We are 50. I do love a comedy show so hope they have that.  Looking for more upscale cruise. Announcements dont bother me as they have never been inside my room.  I have never seen a fight either just ones online.  I will miss my towel animals though.

After cruising with Carnival for many years, 29 cruises, I am tired of them and trying something new. Please let me know what to expect. Especially things that will be totally different from Carnival. Things like when can I go to room on embarkation, how is getting off ship, and anything in between. I feel like a first time cruiser with this new line.

Just realized my Magic cruise sets sail the day of sec championship game.  Will there be somewhere to watch. Got to see my Dawgs.

We took my son in his wheelchair to the island with no issues. They have a handicap cabana too.

They will have Christmas themed pictures you can have made. Lots of families on these cruises. I would love to do every year as a great way to get together with family.

Confused. Magic sails 12/16 to eastern.

Me and my fiancé want to get married by ourselves onboard. Has anyone gotten married with just bride and groom? If so how does everything work. If we want to stay separate before wedding will I be all alone or will they have someone with me to show me where to go and so forth. There is good and bad to it being just us so need more info. Please help if you have done this.

We did the sunshine last year and had same problem with ytd. Awful wait then empty tables when you get to dining room. Very frustrating and will never to again on sunshine. Just did it on fascination and while still not my favorite nit as bad as sunshine.

We fly into Houston Hobby, book a night at LaQuinta stay and cruise package and you are totally taken care of. Airport to hotel to ship back to airport.

Did you stay at LQ by airport or in Galveston?

There should be indoor stairs. Was just on it and thought i saw them

I am glad I found this. I would have never thought about this issue since they are in cans. My son is entirely tube fed with pedicure and I always bring a case. I guess I need to call carnival to make sure no issue with it.

Not like on other ships. There is some by pool but very hot. This was the thing I disliked most about this ship.

I suggest head straight to port. By the time you get there and checked in they will probably start boarding around 11.
