Has anyone received a Refund credit e-mail and then tried to get a cash refund ? Sorry if this has been mentioned in another thread.

I was called by TUI on Monday and asked would I prefer credit or refund, opted for refund and was back in my account on Wednesday.

Triggerdroitwich that is very interesting .We had a river cruise booked for May 11 and have heard nothing ! May I ask did you book on line or through a TA ? Thanks .

Hi Margaret, we booked online, also paid the extra for regional flight, so flying with Lufthansa rather than BA.

  4. We had a River cruise booked for 31st May, TUI called on Monday asking whether I wanted refund voucher or cash refund, I asked for cash refund which was refunded on Wednesday but minus my initial deposit of £375, I have spent nearly all day on and off trying to get through but to no avail, finally got connected at17:30 then at 19:35 message says sorry we close at 19:00 so for 35 mins I am on hold but they have closed ???

  5. £49 isn't too bad really. Just don't want the roaming charges from O2

Thank your for the info on speaking with the catering manager, it can be a nightmare and I don't want to be ill on our trip.

We've book the buggie excursion in Lanzarote and the cable car in Madeira. Any hints and tips? What's the dress code like at dinner?

    Thank You!

There are no roaming charges in Europe anymore, its the same as using your phone in the UK.

  6. Well it was term time so no children or parents on board, but can't say we noticed many wheelchairs / scooters either. I would say it was generally a middle aged range of passengers.

Thanks for the reply, I was wondering whether the AI package is the same as Thomson in that only certain drinks are available or all drinks also what were the draught beers/lagers and ciders on board ?.
