Is the thermal suite worth the money on the Bliss? Haven't seen too many comments/thoughts/reviews on it and wanted to get some feedback. Trying to decide if it's worth the weekly pass during our AK trip or if we should just wing it for day passes.

I feel like the kid who didn't get the toy they wanted for Christmas...and everyone else did...

Anyone know if there's any ships that leave out of New Orleans or Mobile that have single/solo cabins? Or, anyone have luck with a reduced single supplement?

I'm a new cruiser going on the Norwegian Bliss to Alaska next year...can any of you help me with what I should expect to have to pay at the end of the trip? I know I pay my ship balance beforehand, but what costs add up on board that I should calculate into my saving? I know excursions are one, any extra drink or dinner plans, photo packages, the spa package I heard is another popular one...trying to just be prepared and not have the 'sticker shock' at the end of the trip.

Part of what enticed me into cruising was the fact that I could try and stay more on budget than having to figure out the pieces and parts of a longer trip on my own. Any help/thoughts/ideas are greatly appreciated! I've so enjoyed a lot of your posts. They're really helping the 'newbie' out!!

I'm cruising in a studio on the Bliss September 8, 2018...love this thread and can't wait to keep seeing more pics! Oh, and yes, I'm a cruise newbie...went on a Caribbean cruise out of NOLA about 15 years ago, but feel like there's ALOT I don't know after reading this great forum! BUT, can't wait!!!
