Do you happen to know if the Chef's Table used the old menu? Did you have the tomato bisque two ways, waygu beef, sea bass, etc? We'll be on the Ecstasy for New Year's Eve and would like to do the Chef's Table if the menu has changed. We loved the old menu but have already had it twice. Thank you!

In my experience it has been 8am-1pm - not 10 am as suggested on line. There have been times we have gone for breakfast and back for a lunch meal.

Our experience was that the Alchemy bar was fun but we really liked the Steakhouse bar if you want to try classic cocktails.
I also tried a couple of drinks that I didn't like so I just didn't drink them.
Our MDR waiter was a great source for trying new things. He really knew his liquor. Discovered that adding just a splash of sprite to scotch makes it taste so much better if you don't care for scotch. He turned us on to a good champagne and I think by the end of the trip we had emptied the ship of it.
What was the brand of champagne that you fell in love with so we can try it.

We too are moderate drinker but also agree its well worth it. In the past we cruised before the coffee shoo items were included, next weekend are sailing on a ship with the Alchemy bar so looking forward to this experience.

Have many, many nights on Fantasy-class ships, most of them on Fantasy when she was sailing from Charleston. Loved the old gal! And Charleston is one of my favorite places.
Going on Ecstasy at the end of the month. It's been 4 years since my last Fantasy-class sailing, so I'm looking forward to returning "home." ;)
Friends took the upsell fairy's bait and moved from an aft balcony to an owner's suite! I'm staying in my typical, lowly 1A on Riviera (I'm solo) so it will be great fun checking out that suite!
Her blue-card DH is most impressed with receiving the 1-time Platinum upgrade that came with that bump in price.
Looking forward to hearing about the ports. We're going to Princess Cays and Freeport. Hope OP had the same itinerary. I'm looking for some details on Princess Cays.
We sailed on the Fantasy the same time as you in the past but we never met up we were with a group of 17 which kept us busy but also looking forward to information on the pincess cay stop we are sailing November 15th

Just off the November 15th Ecstacy
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
This was cruise number 10 for us but the 1st on the Ecstacy also the 1st with the upgrades ( guys/blue iguanas ) overall it was a good experience. The weather was kind of rough rained both seadays. The staff was very nice and efficient. The ship itself showed some wear . The only real entertainment we did was the comedy club , it was very good. We have sailed out of Charleston 5 times and as far as the port goes this was our best experience yet very fast on and off the ship . Overall it was a good cruise . We are already looking into our next one .
