Would anyone be interested in joining my small group (2 ladies and a 6 year old boy) on a half day snorkel sail with an independent operator in St. Thomas? I've done my homework and am eyeing the folks that operate the Daydreamer and Coconut catamarans. They've received amazing reviews (Tripadvisor). While the cats can hold up to 40+ passengers, they need a minimum of 6 adults to lock in a sailing. At this time (because it's slow season), we're currently the only people requesting this morning half day sail for Wednesday, July 30th. If we can get at least another 4 adults (kids welcome too), they'll take us. And remember, if we're a small group, we get the entire vessel to ourselves! You can check out their site at daydreamervi.com for more info and pics, but here's some info:
1/2 Day Snorkel Sail
9:00am - 12:00pm
Adults: $80 + gratuity
Children 12 and under are half off full fare (so $40)
Children 2 and under are free
They offer a 10% discount off full fares for passengers who pay in cash.
- I think the cat they use for the 1/2 day sail is the Coconut. However, I suppose they could always end up using the Daydreamer for the sailing too.
- Note: I was told passengers board the cats at Sugar Bay which the agent said is a 20 - 25 minute taxi ride from the port.
Description:
This trip offers a nice taste of our waters without taking up your whole day. We sail to an uninhabited island for some excellent snorkeling. If you like, you can just sit back and relax while we cruise. A light snack and open bar are included.
Snacks include: AM - muffins and fresh fruit; very open bar
Anyone interested in sharing a 1/2 Day snorkel sail in St. Thomas on 7/30/14?
