  1. Loving the play by play!  Thanks for doing this. Hope you meet some fun people and have so much excitement you forget to update us over here at least one night!   Speaking of which, I would love to know if the dancing at the Havana Bar at night is at hot as it was a few yrs ago when I was on the Vista.

Hey, If you have time to look at the schedule for me I would love to know what time yoga class is.  I can't wait for my cruise next week on the Horizon, though I have an entirely different set of ports  (Ocho Rios, Cozumel, Cayman).

Have such a great day! ✌️

And, we've now reached the very end of the Chef's Table experience... There was one more dish... They call it Mignardises... Like I said, a bit pretentious... Burnt custard tart, almond chocolate, caramel raspberry licorice, and elderflower caviar...

  3. Excited to check out paradise beach on my next cruise in a couple of weeks,  and am looking for some recent feedback - their website is confusing.

I saw a review that it's $3 pp to get in, but then are all the activities 'a la cart'?   Their website offers an all inclusive pass for $81... but I can't find any other pricing info there other than this pass.

    Thank you!

  4. I've never seen the daily or weekly spa passes on sale or discounted at any time during a cruise. They say you can purchase a daily spa pass (much cheaper than weekly pass) but I've not been able to snag one yet. On the first day of the cruise I usually go straight to the spa to get daily passes for just the sea days because it's cheaper than doing it by the week and we're too busy and tired on port days to use the spa. But they ALWAYS say the spa passes are limited in availability (because they don't want it crowded) and they can only sell weekly passes. This happens EVERY time. So I doubt you can get a daily spa pass but it won't hurt to try. Going on the first day is your best bet. For this reason, we've started getting spa cabins because you get free access to the thermal suites all week.

    Thank you so much!

  5. We did a horseback ride with Goldmine Ranch in Aruba and it was awesome! They picked us up just outside the terminal and drove us out to the ranch. We rode beautiful Paso Finos along the beach, to various sights, and then up into the hills.

Thank you so much for this testimonial! How long were you riding on the beach would you say?

  6. :) I am trying to book my own adventures to save $ and avoid crowds.

I am starting to research which of these ports offer horseback riding. I will check out Carnivals excursions to help me start this research but also wanted to post here to see if anyone has an experience they can share on the topic.

I am going to these ports on the Vista!

    Grand Turk

    La Romana, Dominican Republic

    Aruba

    Curacao

We have an 8 yr old with us. Beach riding would be great but not opposed to other scenic experiences.

Thanks in advanced for any advice or experience!
