The DSC does not cover the gratuities on the drink package. But I also think the DSC is the perk to pick. It is a better value.
Might want to check with the TA. Whenever I get the NCL prepaid gratuities perk as a group booking, it extends to cover the gratuities on the UBP as well. That might just be my TA, but it's worth looking in to.

I agree with others about the prepaid service charges. Especially since that generally covers the gratuities on the drink package also, which can add up quite quickly.

Hi Everyone!
I looked around the forums and didn't see this posted yet. I'm not entirely sure this is the right sub-forum for it either but I figured I would try to share the news. Smithsonian Magazine has "Museum Day" on the 23rd of this month, with free admission to many popular museums around the country. It works out perfect for the day before our Seattle departure. Thought it might come in handy for anyone that has a free Saturday before their cruise departure. Two admissions per email address.

Thanks,

HERO sailings
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
Hi Guys!
We have a group going on the 31st and really looking forward to trying out Celebrity. I have another gang of friends with cabins on the 2nd as well, though I won't be on that sailing with them unfortunately. Just FYI in case the Celebrity reps didn't tell you, it looks like every other cruise actually debarks in Ensenada. For example the 31st sailing we have a full day in port but the on the April 2nd sailing there's just a quick crew tender and no guests are allowed to disembark. I doubt it will matter too much as the ship is surely going to be the best part! This might be common knowledge, but just thought I'd toss it out there.
See some of you on board!
