Yeaaaaa! I'm booked on the same cruise! I found the prices this week better than they were a few weeks ago, plus you get the OBC. I also did the non refundable deposit. First time we did this as well. I got a better price two weeks ago so I was able to save $500 off what I originally paid.

 

I'm also very nervous because we have never visited these countries before and don't speak the languages. We want to arrive in Rome a few days before if we can. I would rather start planning sooner rather than later because I'm quickly realizing it's pretty darn expensive!

Definitely, plan a few days in Rome if you can. The people were fantastic and had some of the most amazing Italian food in Rome vs other places in Italy. Of course you have to also see all of the highlights also.

We stayed at AC Hotels by Marriott Dec 30 - Jan 1, and it was nice. We were able to walk to restaurants and you can use the beach and pool at the San Juan Marriott Stellaris for no charge. It's about 3-4 blocks away.

Sorry for all the questions, my cruise is coming up next weekend. If you want a floater on a frozen Drink, is it included in the deluxe drink package

Just returned from Adventure of the Seas and was told that the extra $2 floater was not included in the beverage package but most bartenders will give you a bit extra. I always get a couple of favorite bartenders and tip them and they are happy to give you a floater.

That's for new bookings (purchases) after that date isn't it? If you have already booked and purchased a drink package prior to that date this shouldn't affect you....right ?

I don't have the answer to that. I've seen mixed responses about that on the boards.

We're a gay couple sailing on the Adventure of the Seas, December 16th to 23rd and would enjoy meeting up with other gay couples for drinks, ship activities, dinner table companions, etc... We've generally had good luck meeting other gay couples on board our previous Royal Caribbean cruises and have struck up some friendships lasting well after the cruises have ended.

Dang! We'll just miss you. We'll be heading out on the Adventure of the Seas on Dec 23rd.

I had that issue a couple of days ago. I logged out and gave it about 30 minutes or so and I was able to finish booking all of my excursions.
