We have sailed on both.
If you want a truly all inclusive experience then it has to be Regent. The excursions on Seabourn are expensive.
We found the on board "willingness to please" better on Regent. The suites on Navigator are bigger and better laid out.
I hope you enjoy whichever you choose.

Sitting in the lounge at Athens Airport after our first Regent cruise which has been great. We will certainly sail with them again given the right itinerary.
I agree pretty much with EnglandRose's review except that the experience in CR for dinner over the last 5 nights has been so much better and a real pleasure.

2nd sea day on way to Haifa. Clear blue skies and less humid. CR was much better last night. They have their tablets back for ordering and it seemed much smoother to us. It seems the situation was made worse by the high percentage of Brits (60%) on board because we all like to come down between 7 and 8.
The show by the troupe was excellent.

Sea day today and it's hot and very humid. Ate for the 2nd time in CR and for us the speed of service hasn't improved
We joined a table for 6 at 7:10. Our order was taken 30 minutes later. We had to rush dessert, miss coffee to get out by 9:20!
The show was worth it though.

The shade availability is pretty low this afternoon. We're in the shade on our balcony overlooking Trapani. The new balcony chairs are excellent. Doing Prime 7 tonight for our anniversary after the Block party at 6.

Just a quick post as I really enjoy other reviews.
Joined Navigator today after a fabulous day and night in Rome.
Ship is beautiful after the recent refurb. Just had dinner in compass rose and new menu has been introduced today - always available extremely extensive with everything you could think of from all cuts of steak to lamb chops to lobster and shrimp plus much much more. Food was amazing and service was as good as always.
Any questions shout up and I will endeavour to answer!

Agree with all except that service was really slow for us as the kitchen had to cope with new style menus, no iPads, and staff changeover.

On Navigator now and wifi is fine. Bit of a pain for two of us logging out to allow other in but overall no problems.

Sounds like we will have to adjust our dining time to get a table outside then.

We're doing the Eastern Med cruise starting the 15th and would love to dine outside most nights. How easy will it be to get an outside table (shared probably) at 7:30pm?

Just spoken to Regent and the tickets are being processed now and should be sent out today or tomorrow.

A technical question about the Explorer. Are the beds the same size in Cat G and F or are Cat G's smaller in size.
Answer:
10cm shorter, really not much.

Good news but I wonder why the Navigator refurbs are not being done during the dry dock at the end of March? Maybe it would be too much to handle. But May suggests they will be done during cruises.
