Galaxy now sail as Mein Schaffer’s

I too am chomping at the bit to get back on board.  My SO and I were scheduled to be on board as I write on the Mille.  But as we all know it and the entire cruise industry shut down.  Of course the personal health and safety of any individual far outweighs the pleasure of one,  I hope I’m not naïve in thinking progress is being made.

Before this ship was sold to this company, I believe it was Celebrity Galaxy - one of the ships I sailed on.

I also cruised on the skyward but I think it was in the early 70s - it was my first cruise! I am determined to find something to verify and satisfy my curiosity as to the particulars. In Nov. of this year, I'll be sailing on my 15th cruise. I love it!!!

THANKS FOR DOING A MARVELOUS JOB posting all those prices. Given my senior citizen status and occasional memory lapses (not due to inbibing) I still can't figure out if it is worth the pkg. or not. So depending on my mood when I and DH board.................?????

Was the LaToc Hotel on a private island in/on St. Lucia? My husband and I honeymooned on the Countess in April, 1978 and I can't find my photos anywhere. It is driving me crazy, but we were talking about St. Lucia just the other day. It was then I suggested the private island aspect. But maybe it was just the ship's private hotel....
