My hubs works for a large consulting company. Carnival is/was interested in reducing costs so he put together a program for them (not being specific). Carnival Cruise Lines could not afford the program even though it would save them a lot of money in the long run. Things are not good there. 😔

Does anyone have any reviews to share about using resortforaday.com in Jamaica? How is the transportation to and from the port (Falmouth)?

How are the activities for kids particularly 3 year olds?

Has anyone booked 2 back to back cruises on two different ships? (A 3 day and 5 day on the Magic & Dream). 

Is there anything we should consider? My hubs would love to visit Castaway Cay twice. I think it would be a pain to pack up and embark onto another ship.

Thinking about booking a guaranteed Inside Stateroom with Restrictions on the Fantasy...is this a good idea? Will I potentially be given a cabin that will be super noisy/crappy? Does anyone have any horror stories or happy experiences to share? Thanks!

We went on the Fantasy in October, and I was wondering how a family gets the privilege of being the very first to board the ship? I think they referred to them as the 'family of the day".

We just returned from our Disney Fantasy cruise (10/28), and we had a strange experience there that I wanted share to see if I am overreacting. We decided to take the Disney excursion to the Jewel Beach resort for the day. The resort was amazing, and we had a great time.

I will preface this with that fact that we have two year old twin boys who receive a lot of attention wherever we go because they are identical and really cute. We were wrapping up our day b/c it was almost time for the bus to come get us. We were all dressed, and my husband went to take pictures of the beach, & I was taking care of my bubs as they played on chairs near the pool. Three Jamaican women (I don't think they worked for the resort) came up to us, and I guess, were admiring/staring at my twins. One of them picked up one of my twins and said "Can I have you? Do you want to come home with me?" It made me feel pretty uncomfortable - the way that she said it seemed like she was about to kidnap my baby. She did not say it in a nice way. I quickly gathered them up, and went to look for my husband. Is aggressiveness a personality trait of some Jamaican people? The whole exchange was totally bizarre & I am still freaked out about it. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Thanks so much for the info! One note...when I completed the online check-in, I specifically looked for our port-arrival time, and it said there was not one since I was taking Disney transportation? I'm wondering what our boarding number will be.

I booked the Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport location for the night before our cruise (arriving at 1pm), then taking Disney transportation to the port the following day. My thoughts were that my toddler twins would enjoy seeing the planes land/take off from this hotel, and the pool.

I'm wondering if I should take advantage of Disney Springs or something while we are there instead? What are the transportation options from the airport to Disney Springs with toddler twins & no car seats (going rogue and not bringing them with us).

I have been to Mr. Sanchos and Chanakaab...both we just took a taxi over from the pier and it took 15-20 min? But there is another port in Cozumel that is closer to downtown and farther away from the beaches. I don't remember the name, but it was a longer drive.

Following...I have two year old twins and sailing to Falmouth next month. What makes Jamaica feel unsafe?

We are booked on the Fantasy in October, and was placed in the second dining seating. Would it be worth a shot to call to get this changed to the first seating?

We just booked a verandah cabin on deck 10 on the Fantasy...a travel agent mentioned to me that she would not recommend deck 10 because of noise from the pool...

Does anyone have an experience with this they could share?

We have planned a cruise in October 2017 with our two year old twins...one of our twins usually gets an ear infection when we go on vacay...not sure why. Should we take a round of antibiotics just in case? What will the infirmary handle?
