Just resurrected your post BellaAnna , hopefully by now you will have received the booklet  (Your Ocean Awaits) I and many others have received a copy this morning for the Maiden itinerary May 3rd.

About time some of these agents at customer service took a crash course in Cunard corporate awareness .

You are so kind to get back to me.  I’m out of town but will check back with you when I check the mail.

Honestly, I’m glad she sent the menus, because I took a look and there is a lot of drink for $12 and under.  I think we’ll be okay, since we don’t drink a lot and are not too fussy.

Anyway you might be able to share the menus here?

Fireworks ! I hope so.  I shall be on this particular cruise and so far I'm feeling a bit disappointed.   Everything appears to be focused on the British Isles cruise,  ie the  naming ceremony and huge celebrations in Liverpool.

I/we've not even received the booklet "Your Ocean Awaits" for the 3rd May itinerary ( not that I really need that information)   however, I have already received the ocean awaits  booklet for an upcoming QM2 itinerary I'm booked on a week or so later.

I have just called customer service about the lovely “Your Ocean Awaits” booklets.  She told me they are no longer sent. What a wonderful souvenir that we will no longer receive.

    Hi,

I am booked on the Rotterdam this November and the Queen Anne's Maiden World Voyage in 2025. It will be interesting to compare the two ships.

I think that Cunard did an excellent job of distinguishing the Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Victoria from the Holland America ships that are built on the same general platform. I have cruised aboard the Zuiderdam, Westerdam, and Eurodam as well as the Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria. I am hoping that the Queen Anne (especially the public areas) will be similarly distinctive from the Holland America Pinnacle Class ships.

No-one really knows, but it is arguably a good approach to upgrade someone on their first voyage, thereby giving them an enhanced experience and getting them hooked on more expensive cabins.

Yes! Cunard is smart! They upgraded us to Queens Grill on our first Voyage 11 years ago. We’ve been in the Grills ever since!

Hope they have listened and learnt from the one we have just returned from. It was if the Times and Cheltenham Festival, who sponsor it, had chartered the ship and made all the rules. There was no planetarium and was very heavy as far as the literature side was concerned. There was lots of complaints onboard.

This is concerning as we are also on this next year. We booked this before the Literature part was announced.  Would be extremely disappointed if the Literature part took over.

  7. I think the package sounds wonderful! What a treat!

We actually purchased the robes and they are so thick and luxurious!  They were new in the package when they arrived.

Please take some comments with a grain of salt.  I think many here look at the glass half empty.

    Enjoy your package and trip!
    Bon Voyage!
