Be great to hear the ship. Cruise length. Date. Original price.

I bid recently at lowest allowable bid for three different upgrades. Now patiently waiting. Sold out Grandeur February 2019 cruise.

    May get lucky.

    Probably not.

Inside guaranteed room. $1,691.09 for 2 leaving out of Baltimore Maryland 12 nights is price we paid. Booked in November 2018 during stock market dip. I swear cruise ship prices dip when the Dow Jones is down.

Great to hear of your good fortune.

We will be on Liberty of the Seas for 7 days on the March 10th sailing. Original booking was ~$1600 for an inside on deck 6, we are now in a balcony on deck 9. I bid the minimum of $100 ($200 total).

  2. We were updated today (yay!!) for our March 10 cruise from an inside to balcony.  The question is, we are past final payment, but the upgrade put us in a room that sleeps 3; can we add a person at this point...I did try finding the info on the RCL site, but couldn't find it.

I will call our TA in the morning, but ask hoping some of you might have some insight. Thanks in advance.

  3. We will be on the Liberty of the Seas and in Falmouth on March 14. I would love to have my 6 year old experience Blue Hole or Dunn's, but I am having a hard time finding a non-cruise excursion that will take just the two of us. I have offered that we are willing to join another small group, but none of the companies I have contacted have that option. Currently. I understand they have to have another small group willing to share.

Does anyone have suggestions on a company that is more likely to have that option?

  4. We are looking into the Turtle Farm; they have 2 options. Does anyone have experience on the differences and the value of the options? Basic is $18 and the next level is $45ish. Thanks for any info you can share.

  5. I have always booked excisions privately, not through the ship. However, I have seen several posts about the length of time that it takes to tender get off of the Liberty.

Anyone that has experience with this, do you think a 4.5hour excursion through a private company is doable? Would it be wiser to book through the ship?

  6. We are cruising out of Galveston NEXT Spring Break 3/10/19. I got what seems to be a very good price for the Baymont Inn and Suites for one night pre-cruise. They do not have a shuttle (we can leave our vehicle there for the week), but I know we could get a cab to and from the port, or we can get parking near the port. What are your thoughts?
