We were very impressed with the tourist information booth at the port where we received valuable information about the local bus service. For $5 you can purchase a return ticket to one of the best beaches about 20 minutes away. If you wish to stop off you can pay $2.60 for a 3rd trip directly on the bus. Originally we intended to do that but were satisfied with seeing the other beaches on the way and stayed for a couple of hours at the one beach, Arashi. Very beautiful, with great snorkelling or just beach visit. The bus trip itself was enjoyable as we passed lots of amazing resorts and lovely beaches. After having done island tours at the other 2 islands, we were content in Aruba with this bus trip, beach visit and walk through the town on return.

We are so glad we booked with Sulainy instead of an excursion offered by our cruise ship. This tour was superior in every way. Sulainy has a comfortable van accommodating 1 to 7 people so your experience is personal rather than being on a big tour bus, and the cost is less. The more people in your group, the more cost effective it is, as the rate is per hour, not per person. You can leave the itinerary to her, or ask for a tailor made tour. Sulainy speaks great English, is an excellent tour guide with a great personality, good sense of humour and extensive knowledge about anything to do with Curacao as she has lived there all her life. She shared much interesting information, not only about the country, but gave us an insight into the life of the people, partly based on personal anecdotes. It really felt as if we were with a friend, certainly not a taxi driver!! It is worth mentioning that we booked at the very last minute. Sulainy replied almost instantly to my email and we finalised everything within less than a day before our tour. Most highly recommended! You won't be disappointed!

Highly recommended, great experience, great value!
We booked the Combi Tour at the port after reading glowing reports about the company and Anita. I was very pleased to find her at the selling point and to learn that she was the guide for the next tour ( 10:30 am). We are so pleased that we took this tour ( although it was last minute at the dock for us, you can book ahead online) as it was a really personal experience and so much better ( and cheaper) than those offered on the cruise ship, in large bus loads. We were in a comfortable van with 6 others, while maximum seating was only 10. Anita was everything already mentioned in other reviews and ensured we experienced as much as possible in the time we had. Her passion for her country, for the environment and for her job is obvious. Her ability to speak excellent English and about 7 other languages is a great asset. Voyager Bonaire Tours is fortunate to have Anita as a guide. Don't hesitate to book with them. You won't be disappointed!
