Negative review with absolutely no explanation …. Sound more like a whiner and basher to me. JMHO. If you are going to do a review, at least give an example of what you like/dislike about each situation so that it will help others who read your review.

It was around $50 ish on the Pride when I was on 2 weeks ago. It was for a carton of Marboro.

I don't know how it works but here is my situation: I cruised with Carnival once last Oct. and raked up 13,000 points. This year I got the invite for Premiere cruise and I pass due to schedule conflict. This week I got an invite for the Ultra cruise but I didn't do the Premiere at all. So....I don't know how this all work and would like to know also.

I will be on Carnival again end of this month. This is not from any of the invites but it is also free from other source. I am sure I will rake up some more points on top of what I got last year. Let see if I will get invite for the Elite cruise later on. If I do then it is probably base on level of play and number of points accumulated.

Hi, I booked an excursion and also found the cheaper price else where. Where do I file for the OBC? I looked on the Carnival site in Manage section but only found the form for the cruise fare OBC not the excursion form.

It is actually an AmEx gift card that you can only use for Carnival. I have used one on the Pride last year. They will just put it on your S&S card as a credit card and charge to it until it runs out. I am using another one on my next cruise in June.

I am planning a cruise and have a couple questions that I hope someone can help me. Which airport is the closest to the port in Galveston? How far is it from the airport to the port? I know it is not recommended but we plan to fly in/out the same day we embark/disembark. Is it doable if we fly in early and fly out late in the day?

Yes, it works. I just used one on my 10/22/17 cruise on the pride. I use it to pay for some of my expenses online before cruise and put the rest on my S&S card at the service desk once I was onboard.

Hi, I will be on board this Sunday and getting ready to purchase couple of discount giftcards to load them on my S&S account. Do I have to have the physical giftcard or can I just use the egiftcard numbers and pins at the customer service desk? I am hoping it's the latter because it would be too late for the physical card now.

Thanks Mary for the heads up. Even with 3% fee I am still 7% ahead. It might just keep me going for a few minutes longer....lol.
