The average is about 80-100 +/- cruises
Out of curiosity I counted our cruises. By the end of this year, we will have sailed on RCCL 44 times with 5 more booked for next year. It should take 33 more 7 day cruises for us to reach 700 points. That would be 82 cruises for us to make Pinnacle.

Confusing
Hahah… Now I’m confused;) I just meant to say that when we booked an eight day cruise and could afford a JS, we got 32 points each. That added up quickly to put us well over 400 points, so now we feel Pinnacle is possible (for us), but it will still take 2 or 3 more years. With the current prices we book inside cabins. Maybe we should look into booking solo cabins. We just enjoy being on a ship!

That double points promo could have pumped up points. On a recent cruise there was a couple that hit Pinnacle and their first RC cruise was 2019
The double double points (in a Suite because of Covid) were nice! We have cruised with Royal for around 20 years and didn’t think we had a shot at Pinnacle. Now thanks to retirement and higher suite prices knocking us back to interior cabins, we can make it there in two more years.

Hi Everyone! Quick question! It was our understanding about 20 years ago when you took a Celebrity cruise that the points for that cruise counted towards Royal Caribbean Crown and Anchor points. Does anyone remember this? I know this is not currently the case. Thank you!
I think it was around 2005 (18 years ago) that we took our first Celebrity cruise. Cruise points were with their Captain's Club.

We’re on our way to board Adventure tomorrow. Still waiting to hear where we’re going:( I booked this cruise for the itinerary, but it is what it is. We’ll be happy to be on a cruise to anywhere;)

Another thing we have done is turn both of our offers into b2bs. We love doing b2bs when possible.
I just put three offers together for a b2b2b and upgraded to a larger balcony on the hump. I found it interesting that Port fees and taxes were $300 more than a b2b for the same amount of days. I think the reason is because of the fees at Miami and Nassau. Oh well, we wanted to be on Indy.

I always look at the deck plan to see what is over, under and beside a cabin before I will book it.

Dan finally gone a couple of crappy 4 and 5 night offers. Still nothing for me.
I have a couple new offers that I may put together. B2B's are fun if you can stay in the same cabin.

We just noticed this offer tonight. Surprised to see a 9 nighter on the list.
We are already booked on Anthem for an 11 nighter in mid January that DH got on a cruise certificate earlier this year.
Offers are definitely less than previous years.
We sail next month on Serenade and plan on asking casino host for a look at various certificates.1605B0E5-A2D8-48CE-B620-CA327A456CE3.pdf
Nice offer!

All ships are exactly the same
The software doesn’t change from ship to ship
That makes sense, but some seem so tight while others are fun to play in. Maybe it's just knowing which machines to play and what time of day is best.

We're doing a S2B2B next month on Adventure and Harmony. Which ship is better to accumulate points on the slots? Thanks!
-
I'm following this thread because we will be on Adventure next month. I keep checking my app, but nothing is listed. However, movies are listed for our Harmony - Sept. 16th cruise. Top Gun: Maverick, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish will be in the theater or outside on the big screen. Top Gun has been on every cruise we've been on for the last year. It's awesome!

We were on the Adventure in Feb. The only slot paying some was the $1 Diamonds or triple Diamonds. Had to bet more than a dollar.
THANKS!!!

Ask the casino host for a list of the sailings that you will be eligible for BEFORE you bother to level up
Thanks for that advice! If I can get a 7 day, it would be worth it to me. But not for a 3 to 5 day. I need points to qualify for next year.

I have seen some posts where RCCL has increased it on some sailings to 1500 points. My early April sailing I spoke with some fellow cruisers on Allure. Got their 1200 cert, and no 7 days sailings on it. They were disappointed. My wife picked up her 2000 cert early. It showed some 7 days sailings. Went to Next Cruise. Nope, offers were gone. Only 3-5 days actually left to book. After getting home I phoned/emailed Casino Royale trying to get a 7 day. NOPE ! We go on Carnival Sep 23. We are both PRIME and DIamond.
Wow! Our neighbors just got home from a 10 day comped cruise on Carnival Pride to Norway. They are Diamond on Royal, so I told them they should try Casino Royale and go for the 1200 point cert. for their next cruise. But if they have to pay full price for the first cruise and spend a lot of money to get 1200 points for just a 3 to 5 day cruise, it's not worth it. I'm going to tell them to call and see if they can get a good price for the first cruise.

Does every ship's casino (RCCL) require 1200 points per cruise for a free inside cabin from an instant certificate?

Yes, mine was added yesterday afternoon also. My guess, is it was added to my account by mistake because the pdf offer listed with that code that maketime4cruisin posted was for a JS or Balcony. My offers are normally for bal, ov or interior. I'm watching to see if it will be replaced with a lower offer.
I got a nice offer a few days ago for a balcony or ocean view. Anywhere from 3 to 7 nights, one 8 night offer. I booked Oasis for 7 nights in March.

You don’t get a free cruise until you become Pinnacle. People who get “free” cruises thru the casino have paid for them thru their losses.
At least my losses get a free cruise;)

So — I am going on a 9 day cruise with my sister because — the casino folks would not allow my sister to book a solo balcony cabin. So as a solo you are denied a balcony cabin even though you received an offer. If my sister took an inside instead it would have been ok. Strange.
Well, it worked out good for you;) Have a great time!

Labadee is one of our least favorite Ports! We like Cozumel;) For many years we rented a scooter and rode around Cozumel. It's a pretty ride! We would stop for lunch past the light house on the North shore, then play on the beach across the street. -In today's world, I'm more cautious.-
We're sailing with you on this cruise. Enjoy!
