  1. Anyone that has added the snorkel offered through the website I would like to hear how your experience was. We have added as something to break up the time and hope it will be worthwhile! Thanks for the positive review of the spot overall.

My wife and I did the snorkel tour as part of our visit in December. There were two other couples who joined the excursion. We walked to a short pier just near the beach and boarded a small glass bottomed boat. There was a guide and a captain. We boated about ten minutes from the beach to an area that had several coral formations. We saw numerous sea creatures, including sting rays, multiple tropical fish, and a nurse shark. We then reboarded the boat and travelled to the edge of the shelf where the ocean drops into the depths. The water was crystal clear and it was very fun. The guide provided all the gear, life jackets to those who wanted them, and bottled water. The guide was very personable, friendly, and engaged with each guest. My wife and I had an exciting close encounter with a jelly fish, but no one got stung. There was a fresh water shower at Nachi close to the pier for rinsing off. The snorkel trip lasted about 90 minutes and seemed like a good value for $30 per person.

  2. Hi everyone - so, we have a red eye from Vegas arriving 7:10 am to Miami with a same day cruise departure from port of Miami at 3:30 pm. Arriving the day before would have been better, but this was our only option given schedules, etc.

Assuming we arrive without delays, any suggestions for passing the time before we can get ourselves and luggage onto the ship? Any places to store luggage while we explore? Are there any hotels that would hold our luggage while we eat breakfast or sit on the beach?

Sure would appreciate any ideas from seasoned visitors. We've never been to Miami before. Thanks!!
