  1. On RCI, as example, they are around$18 - $20 each. They also have package prices that provide some degree of discount. Sorry not to be more specific but we haven't bought any in years.

For package discounts can you just go buy all ur photos at the end of ur cruise? Or is it package per photo like all the photos in package is the same photo? Cause if they have bundle deals, wouldn't it be best to leave all ur photos until end of trip and u pick good ones? Sorry if I'm confusing!

  2. We absolutely love the Oasis class ships! Of the 3, we have enjoyed Harmony the most, followed by Allure, then Oasis. We have already booked Symphony for next year. Our 2 big reasons for loving this class ships--unmatched entertainment(the number of shows and the quality), and the food options, especially Park Café and Solarium Bistro.

We loved the food on Harmony, especially the expanded dinner offerings in Windjammer. Many people miss having a Solarium pool, but we were fine with the hot tubs and regular pools.

All that said, we're booked on Oasis in October and Freedom in January. We do love the big ships! One of these days we'll try Quantum class, but living in Georgia it makes no sense to fly to New York and then sail south.

What is the quantum class? I was also looking at symphony but they don't seem to have any cruises in December 2017 or I just could not find any/sold out. Thank you for your information on the harmony. I think we will be looking into booking harmony

  3. For me Carnival is all about the party atmosphere which I don't seek on a cruise. On Royal you can relax or you have tons of activities and then you can still party at night. I compare C and R as I would Holiday Inn and a W hotel. Both give you a good place to sleep but you feel a more upscale experience with Royal. My suggestion is to give it a try. Unless you are opposed to mega ships (which I love) I suggest one of the Oasis class ships, especially Harmony.

  4. I have cruise both Carnival and Royal. I love Royal! For your first I would suggest a great ship. Either Harmony, Oasis or Allure on Royal. So much to do and you won't get bored in the week. For me the ports are secondary. You spend maybe 6 hours at each of 3 ports. But much longer time on the ship. Mid ship or rat is better than forward. Lower decks are. Tommy preference but are not bad. But do book right away.

  5. Hi!

We have not booked any cruise yet. But we are looking to go on a cruise this December 2017, just not sure which (was looking at carnival & royal Caribbean). Was just wondering which may be better? We are from Canada and would have to travel to Miami because that's where most of the cruises leave off. Please help by commenting below on your advice! Thank you :)
