You can find anyone on social media with at least 3 pieces of information. Sounds like you already have a location (1) and names (2). Your son will have to do the rest of the leg work (especially when it's a minor trying to locate his friends, who are also minors).

Iām normally pretty good at finding people on social media! We donāt have surnames or are even sure on the spelling of the first names. Itās his own fault for not plucking up the courage to ask! But heās kicking himself now! Heās learnt his lesson for the future! š¤¦š¼āāļø

I canāt find one. š

We were on Explorer last week and had a balcony room with 2 teenagers. The bed for them was a sofa bed not a trundle style so had to be a double bed. It was absolutely fine though. They just put a pillow between them.Ā

This a bit of a long shot but weāve just got off of the Explorer of the seas and had a lovely family on our table at dinner. Steven and Joelle with their two 17 year old children, Ethan and Jordan from Washington state, near Seattle. My son, also called Ethan spent the last 2 evenings with Ethan and Jordan and some other friends that theyād made but didnāt end up swapping details. Now weāre off the ship heās really regretting this so Iām desperately trying to help him find them! Iāve posted on our cruises Facebook group and also another one for Explorer too in the hope that someone can help! Maybe your son/daughter was one of the other teenagers they were with?Ā
Photos of me and my Ethan incase anyone recognises him!Ā

Weāre due to sail on the Disney Magic on the 27th September. I just came on here to see if there was any interesting info anyone had added. I canāt help but commentĀ on the pricing remarks above. Weāve paid Ā£985 for 4 people (2 adults and 2 teenĀ kids that will definitely eat their moneyās worth!)Ā for 2 nights making it just over Ā£123 per person per night. For DCL thatās not bad at all.Ā

I did this last year. My refund took ages to come back but the payment was taken straight away! Put me over my credit limit on my credit card as there was no refund showing that they could see. š”

We cruised from Boston to Fort Lauderdale last October and as it overlapped our uk half term we took our kids. They were 11 and 8 at the time. They were 2 of only about 10 kids onboard but they absolutely loved it! Every activity they wanted to do was quiet so they had all the staff at their beckon call! They wouldāve been happy to stay on the ship everyday!Ā

Thanks everyone! Thatās great! My kids would be gutted if it wasnāt. Although my son will be in the āTeenā bit now as heās 12!Ā

Weāre going on a 3 night Bahamas cruise from Port Canaveral in January. Itās only short so there are no sea days. Does anyone know if they still run the Adventure Ocean club on short cruises?Ā

Thank you for posting this. Weāre doing a very similar cruise on Enchantment in January from Port Canaveral. We were going to be in Orlando over new year anyway so it seemed rude not to!! It all looks fantastic!!

Iāve just got back off of the independence last week. You can buy draught soda. It was $3.50 The soft drink package was $10 a day so youād only need to have 3 and youād have made it worthwhile. Iāve cruised with RC 3 times now. Twice on Indy and once on Serenade. Iāve only cruised once with p&o and in my opinion RC beat them hands down in every way, ok apart from drinks prices! You do t need to take my word for it. Youāll see for yourself.

Thanks for the update, that is a small number for a Freedom class ship.
There may have been more but we were only on for 2 nights so didnāt manage to explore fully!

I got off Indy last Thursday. She definitely has freestyle machines. We saw 2 in the promenade and one in the windjammer.
-
We had the Pullman āceilingā beds for our kids when they were only 3 and 5. They were absolutely fine and no one commented at all. We cruised again recently and the kids were 8 and 11 and again they were brilliant!

Thank you all so much for your replies.

Hello all! Silly question but Iām not sure what to do. Weāre flying from UK to Boston to meet our ship. I donāt want to attach our Royal Caribbean luggage tags to our cases before flying as the airline will then attach their own tags and this might confuse things. Do you think our hotel will be able to lend us a stapler to attach them in Boston or should I take my stapler with me?!? Can you even take a stapler on a plane?!?
Thanks in advance!

As the previous poster said, no Virgin Atlantic !
It's because it is not including international flights, only domestic i think.
Ā
We are doing the same as you, and it would be a fantastic end to the cruise, but alas no.
We will have to deal with luggage, from early FLL arrival to early evening departure from Miami.
Ā
Even if you do a partner airline on list, direct to U.K I am pretty sure it's domestic only.
Ā
Thinking about a cruise excursion, so they take and keep safe luggage in coach, and take you to MIA in early afternoon.
So at least half the day is gone.

I was thinking the same thing about the excursion but unfortunately they're not running the hop on hop off bus tour or the open top bus tour which would've been perfect. I've hired us a car now that we'll pick up at Fort Lauderdale and drop off at the airport and I think we'll use the left luggage service at the airport so we can be luggage free for a few hours. It's either that or we sit at the airport for hours as we wouldn't leave the car with luggage in it!

I wonder if anyone that's done this cruise before can help me. I'm flying from England so need to be organised and would like an idea of how many formal nights and, if there are theme nights, what theme they are likely to be. I've been searching on our cruise planner and calendar and there's no info on there! I'm assuming there'll be a Halloween theme night as we're not off the ship until the 1st Nov but apart from that I have no idea! Also are the ships photographers only out on formal nights or are they available on other nights too? I'm cruising with my husband, 11 year old son and 8 year old daughter so would like some decent photos taken. Many thanks in advance.

Can anyone tell me if there's one if these machines on Serenade? My kids won't care what it actually is I'm sure!
-
We'll be disembarking Serenade in Fort Lauderdale and then flying out of Miami that evening. We're flying back to U.K. with Virgin Atlantic. Does anyone know if we'll be able to take advantage of the luggage valet service too as that would be perfect!
-
Does anyone know if Serenade has one at the moment please?
-
We are on the Serenade in 3 weeks time cruising from Boston. Our boarding time is from 11.30am of that helps at all.
-
Does anyone know if Serenade has a freestyle machine?
-
Thankyou all for the info. I'll have a think and see what's best for us.
