A quick Google found this obituary for a man with grandchildren from Seattle called Stephen & Joelle and great-grandchildren called Ethan & Jordan. Got to be, surely ā€¦

And then another quick Google found a lady called Joelle Baron, nee Adler, married to Stephen living near Seattle:

May or may not be them. But maybe a starting point? The internet is a scary thing ā€¦

You are amazing! Thank you so much!!Ā

You can find anyone on social media with at least 3 pieces of information. Sounds like you already have a location (1) and names (2). Your son will have to do the rest of the leg work (especially when it's a minor trying to locate his friends, who are also minors).

Iā€™m normally pretty good at finding people on social media! We donā€™t have surnames or are even sure on the spelling of the first names. Itā€™s his own fault for not plucking up the courage to ask! But heā€™s kicking himself now! Heā€™s learnt his lesson for the future! šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

  3. This a bit of a long shot but weā€™ve just got off of the Explorer of the seas and had a lovely family on our table at dinner. Steven and Joelle with their two 17 year old children, Ethan and Jordan from Washington state, near Seattle. My son, also called Ethan spent the last 2 evenings with Ethan and Jordan and some other friends that theyā€™d made but didnā€™t end up swapping details. Now weā€™re off the ship heā€™s really regretting this so Iā€™m desperately trying to help him find them! Iā€™ve posted on our cruises Facebook group and also another one for Explorer too in the hope that someone can help! Maybe your son/daughter was one of the other teenagers they were with?Ā

Photos of me and my Ethan incase anyone recognises him!Ā

  4. Weā€™re due to sail on the Disney Magic on the 27th September. I just came on here to see if there was any interesting info anyone had added. I canā€™t help but commentĀ on the pricing remarks above. Weā€™ve paid Ā£985 for 4 people (2 adults and 2 teenĀ kids that will definitely eat their moneyā€™s worth!)Ā for 2 nights making it just over Ā£123 per person per night. For DCL thatā€™s not bad at all.Ā

  5. Iā€™ve just got back off of the independence last week. You can buy draught soda. It was $3.50 The soft drink package was $10 a day so youā€™d only need to have 3 and youā€™d have made it worthwhile. Iā€™ve cruised with RC 3 times now. Twice on Indy and once on Serenade. Iā€™ve only cruised once with p&o and in my opinion RC beat them hands down in every way, ok apart from drinks prices! You do t need to take my word for it. Youā€™ll see for yourself.

  6. Hello all! Silly question but Iā€™m not sure what to do. Weā€™re flying from UK to Boston to meet our ship. I donā€™t want to attach our Royal Caribbean luggage tags to our cases before flying as the airline will then attach their own tags and this might confuse things. Do you think our hotel will be able to lend us a stapler to attach them in Boston or should I take my stapler with me?!? Can you even take a stapler on a plane?!?

    Thanks in advance!

  7. As the previous poster said, no Virgin Atlantic !

It's because it is not including international flights, only domestic i think.

    Ā

We are doing the same as you, and it would be a fantastic end to the cruise, but alas no.

We will have to deal with luggage, from early FLL arrival to early evening departure from Miami.

    Ā

Even if you do a partner airline on list, direct to U.K I am pretty sure it's domestic only.

    Ā

Thinking about a cruise excursion, so they take and keep safe luggage in coach, and take you to MIA in early afternoon.

So at least half the day is gone.

I was thinking the same thing about the excursion but unfortunately they're not running the hop on hop off bus tour or the open top bus tour which would've been perfect. I've hired us a car now that we'll pick up at Fort Lauderdale and drop off at the airport and I think we'll use the left luggage service at the airport so we can be luggage free for a few hours. It's either that or we sit at the airport for hours as we wouldn't leave the car with luggage in it!

  8. I wonder if anyone that's done this cruise before can help me. I'm flying from England so need to be organised and would like an idea of how many formal nights and, if there are theme nights, what theme they are likely to be. I've been searching on our cruise planner and calendar and there's no info on there! I'm assuming there'll be a Halloween theme night as we're not off the ship until the 1st Nov but apart from that I have no idea! Also are the ships photographers only out on formal nights or are they available on other nights too? I'm cruising with my husband, 11 year old son and 8 year old daughter so would like some decent photos taken. Many thanks in advance.
