  1. Hi, we were in Kotor by Star Breeze a few days ago and we did a tour /Lipa Cave-Budva old town-Njegusi village with a lunch stop/ organized by Mont Travelers Montenegro small tour agency much cheaper than other cruise ships offer this excursion. I am not sure could we post an email address or website link here but I am sure you will find it by name of the agency. The guide was very friendly and we had another one in the cave. It was really fantastic time with an excellent lunch stop. Mont Travelers is truly worthy of recommendation.

  2. I remember it being quite a trip from the bus depot to the Hypogeum stop, I wouldn't walk it. Do what a previous poster said, take a taxi there and then once through the Hypogeum walk to the Tarxian temple its only a couple of block (We did the reverse, bus to the temple then walked to the Hypogeum and bus back to Valletta). Or have the taxi drop you off at the temple area and go on from there.

I did do exactly as the previous post said because I chose to do two private tours but not here. Taxi was inexpensive but we were late so we took a taxi in both directions so in some way it would be smarter we took the tour here :( Anyway the place is nice and we are happy we had a chance to explore it. By the way, we decided to take a private tour with "Mont travelers" in Kotor and "Travelco" in Corfu. This was more relaxing than exploring the town on our own :D

  3. Is the price better this way vs. booking ahead? We are a group of 6 adults - I need to out if there are private tours that can hold this size.

    Thanks.

Hi, we did a tour with Travelco's guide and was fantastic. I was on Corfu twice but tour with local company only once. Hope this will help.

  4. Like you, we were worried about doing private tours, but have found that tour organisers are well aware of the time you have to be back at the ship. We took some great private tours in Vietnam, organised by someone on the Roll-Call for the cruise. In the Caribbean we just get taxis, either just to give us a tour of the island or take us somewhere specific. It's worth doing a bit of internet research before you go to see what's worth seeing at each port. Trip Advisor is a good place to start.

To find the Roll-call for your cruise, use this link https://www.cruisecritic.co.uk/rollcalls/ then click to Azamara, your ship's name and the month your cruise starts.
