Our documents say that boarding starts at 1230 we normaly go straight to the dining room for lunch.

Pre covid lunch was available 1200 until 1330.  Question is, is lunch in a dining room still available and if so which dining room on the Sky. Thanks.

On Sky at the moment.  Went to the Estrella (deck 6, midship) restaurant for lunch on embarkation, restaurant open from 12 to 1.30pm.   Ship is lovely, hope you have a good cruise.

  2. Hi, we are on a cruise in a week or so and wondered if you would be able to check out what make of sun tan lotion they are selling in the shops.  I know that the franchise for the shops have now changed but am hoping we can still buy the same as before.  Not a biggie, but if you happen to notice would be very grateful.

Enjoy the rest of your cruise.

  3. We have just got back from a 49 day cruise on the Royal and stayed in B737.  We had soot on our balcony every day, at times we were pelted by great chunks of soot and other times the very fine soot was on our skin and clothes.  We had to wipe down the balcony before using and sit on towels.  Consequently we were unable to use our balcony as much we wanted.  I took some pictures which I have forwarded to Princess asking how this can be classified as a Premium balcony.  I will never stay in this cabin again.  I have had aft balconies on both the Ruby and Emerald and really enjoyed them.  I really think Princess should advise when booking that soot can be a problem  just like they do for obstructed view balconies.

  4. I have just checked again and in fact our cruise in September will be our 22nd cruise, not 21st as I first thought. We did not get any onboard credit, nor was there a card in our room. I will see what happens on our next cruise and if there is nothing will speak with the Captains Circle host for clarification. I will post back here so others will know for the future.

Again, thank you all for your input.

  5. Does anyone know whether this has been discontinued.

I have just reached my 21st cruise with Princess thought they had a loyalty programme where you received a small onboard credit. Have been told by a princess rep that they have never heard of this and to send screen shot so they can investigate. Having done search on princess unable to find anything. I am from uk so maybe it doesn't apply to us? Would appreciate any help.

  6. Thank you for posting. I went on this today to do a dummy booking for my upcoming Royal cruise in February to see how it differed. I noticed they have an offer on for air and was able to cancel my cruise, rebook with the same stateroom and save £700 for the flights.

If you hadn't posted I would never have known. Thanks again.

  7. We did the princess tour in March of this year and had a wonderful time. It was worth every penny to visit such a wonderful iconic place. Hotel in urubamba was lovely it was a shame we could not stay longer to appreciate fully the facilities.

If you have any questions we would be more than happy to help.

  8. Hi, we were on the Crown and had room C705 which was just above these cabins and we also were very close to the elevators. We did not find the noise to be a problem. Yes, you sometimes heard the inconsiderate noisy people going back to their cabins, but no more than we have found on other cruises in cabins further down the hall.

    Have a great cruise.
