absolutely great!  Photos do not show how roomy it is.  Lots of room to turn around and park my scooter.  Lots of closets, shelves and drawers . 2 chairs and small table.

No photos on Halfacts - looking at fully accessible V5055, 5057, or 5052, 5054

I was on the Koningsdam last spring on a transatlantic and Mediterranean cruise and had no problem whatsoever getting around  on my midsize scooter anywhere on the ship  - even in the main Dining room.  The staff is always extremely helpful as well.  I had an accessible inside cabin which was very large and allowed me to turn around easily, park in the room without being in the way.

I'm looking forward to cruising on the Eurodam in February and expect no problems on that ship as well especially after seeing the posting by Himself.

I have booked a cruise on the Eurodam and looking at Cabin VA4134.

Any comments you may have as to space, layout, location and noise would be greatly appreciated.

A photo  would be a bonus.

Glad to see you back and posting to the board. You may not know it but you are really a great ambassador for Holland America. You have such a great wealth of information that you share with us.

Since I didn't receive any positive results from my post earlier this summer, I would like to ask you to give it a look and see if you can come up with something. The photo that I included is dark and not the clearest since I cut it out of the background of a photo taken of our group in the dining room.

I sent an email to Guest Relations but have not received a response.

Please tell me who this nice Officer is! I failed to get his name (was not wearing a name tag)

I would like to know his name, hoping he is still with Holland America, and also maybe the ship he is assigned to.

Would be nice to run into him again on one of my future cruises.

His great smile was uplifting, his manner made you feel like like he was really interested.

He made me feel like a Queen even if I'm a bit disabled.

A real Gentleman, polite, thoughtful, attentive and often going beyond the call of duty to assist you.

He led a team of well organized waiters and assistants that always had a smile and appeared to be happy on the job; The DRM was not afraid to pitch in when the dining room was especially busy or if an unusual need arose.

We sat in the same section of the open Dining Room every evening because of the warm welcoming feeling and great service that this team was giving to us.

I've been on a few cruises since then, service was good - OK - but not of the quality shown above.

Hope that one or maybe a few of you cruise lovers will recognise his wonderful smile and let me know.

I was also on the Westerdam on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera on February 7th to 14th, 2017. Had a great time - all staff were terrific I would also like to know who those officers were (in the positions noted above) and also where they are now.

I expect it depends on your charger cord. Mine has 3 prongs so I use a small travel power surge protector strip that has 3 outlets. These are pretty easy to find and not expensive. Walmart might even carry them.

March 28th TA and Mosaic until April 21st. Lots of sea days to enjoy, meet new friends and have fun on the ship.

Is anyone else interested in playing cards (other than bridge) - classic friendly games like Canasta (incl. Hand & Foot), Euchre, Hearts, Whist - many versions, Rummy - many versions, Kaiser, Cribbage; And boardgames like: Balderdash, Trivial Persuit, Sqrabble & Upwards and even Yatzee?
