I have done cruises with & without FTTF...and I don't see enough of an advantage with it to justify the price. I have never had a long wait without it...even before the boarding times were commonplace.

Your cruise is what YOU make it. If you want to party...CCL provides plenty of opportunities. If you want quiet...you can get that too. My wife and are somewhere in the middle...and love CCL.

Not one person here has seen the renovations yet it seems as though most have already formed an opinion on them. Plans are one thing...but they are 2 dimensional ...why not wait to see the finished product before forming an option. And btw....plans could be tweaked or changed completely once the construction gets closer.

We have eaten at the Steakhouse several times and have never had a bad meal. The food & service is well worth it. Of course, you can always cancel the 2nd if you have a bad experience with the first one. No need to do it beforehand.

I would just contact Carnival and tell them your circumstances. They would be able to direct you best.

 

On the Freedom in December I took a fall the first day of the cruise and was unable to walk. (I wound up tearing my quad tendon & required surgery upon return). They provided me a wheelchair for the remainder (6 days) of the cruise at no cost.

You cannot fall overboard unless you are climbing or sitting on the rail. The other way would be that you are pushed or thrown overboard.

 

It was reported that the woman on the Elation was pushed and that they took her husband into custody.

 

There is speculation that the woman on the Triumph was a suicide.

I've booked excursions using the Carnival MC and have never received a discount from Carnival at the time of purchase. The discount will appear on the same card billing statement as the original purchase.

7 and 8 day cruise, 3 port stops max.I like sea days more. My favorite itinerary layout is 8 days, 3 ports. They are hard to find.

I think they need to eliminate elegant nights. The dress code is never enforced so what's the point. You get a table where every one is in suits and dresses next to a table of people in shorts. I would love to see it mandatory for the mdr....but that will never happen.
