What are they putting in that float?

Is it possible to get a root beer float on the cruise? If so, any idea on the price?

We will be on the New Statendam this week. I don’t know of any kind of sports bar aboard but are there any public areas that show college or NFL games? Can you watch any games in your stateroom?
I have gleaned a lot of information from CC and want to thank people for their help. Keep up the good work. -
Thank you, I missed seeing this.

Does HA usually have a Black Friday deal? Discounts, prepaid grat., ship credit? Another question, when the present promotion “summer exploration” ends will the cruise fair likely drop?

If everyone did the same things life would be boring. It’s your vacation and you can stay aboard and relax (or run) . Enjoy life and have a great trip.

We go to Alaska for wildlife and scenery. We have done Kenai Fjords on back to back days. Different but both tremendous. It is very different than GB.
If I had your itinerary, I would do them all. That’s why I go. Enjoy your choices and trip.

Thanks for the report. We are starting to plan for next year and like hearing what others have done.

We stayed on our balcony for most of our time. We did go to the forward viewing for an hour or so but were happier in the quiet of our balcony. We had lunch delivered there also. Wonderful trip. Hope yours is as well.

Thanks for posting. Nice pics.

We had deck 4 aft corner and LOVED it! If the service was sub par in any way we didn’t notice. Being able to view and photo for much longer times was more beneficial to us than the loss of Neptune Lounge conveniences. We were there to enjoy the scenery and that’s what we did. Enjoy your trip.

We had a very loud early morning jazzersize class right above us. They had speakers set near the side rail that woke us up most mornings. When they worked out in the pool they just raised the volume. This was part of a group of about 200 that were traveling as a motivational group.

If you have bad service, empty ketchup, an unfriendly greeter (unlikely), or any other issue with the crew then it should be brought up to his or her supervisor. Get the issue fixed. If someone did something to me that I thought warranted $50-150 in compensation then I would definitely speak to them or their supervisor. Don't use it as an excuse to not tip.

BQ, do you know who rents kayaks at Mendenhal? Thanks.

some operators do guarantee to get you back to the ship. You have to read their website. I too use trip advisor to help with research.

we are also on the May 9 cruise. We received the same offer of $399 to go up from an SY suite. We got the offer on the 10/11th but not sure of the value to us. If it comes down I will probably jump but don't see that much value in it yet.

Are specialty restaurants included in the auto gratuity?
Pinnacle, Circ show, Italian rest. Etc?
-
Is there a minimum amount of stock that needs to be purchased to receive the credit?

Once again I want to thank you for such a wonderful report. The memories you have brought back and new info for our trip next year are great. The photos and links to places visited are helpful.
Again,
Thank you

Thanks for the info. We have been to Kenai Fjords twice in the same trip. We are planning a possible trip back to Alaska next year and was wondering about choosing land only, cruise only, or both. We have cruised there once and driven once and are trying to work out a travel plan.
