Our ship gets into port at 7am, another at 8am and a 3rd at 9. We are hoping to get off early to get to Oia. My understanding from reading posts on various sites are there are 2 or 3 companies that do the ferry to Oia, then bus back to Fira. Anyone know if they take credit card on the dock? Ageantraveller was 1 listed and they do sell online, but it looks iffy to me as it shows they always have 100 available to sell and no specific time. Also read a poor review from them as of last week on tripadvisor, but couldn't ask the person what time they went (said long time at sea waiting to dock).

Thanks! It would be about 25 euros each way from the train station in Taormina to the teatro?! I haven't been to Europe in years, and never Greece or Sicily, so that may be the norm and just sounds expensive to me!

Has anyone been on the Jewel of the Seas recently that could give me an idea the disembarkation time in Civitavecchia? We are to dock at 5am. I am hoping to make an 11:15am flight out of FCO and looking at airport transfers (RCI's site didn't show a way to book, I'll likely be calling them too). If we dock at 5am, is it unreasonable to think we could be off at 7am (if we do self dembarkation)?

We are visiting Messina in 2 weeks (yes, late on the planning phase) and the only thing we care to see is Teatra Graco. I found that the train gets close, but then it says it is a 54 minute walk from the station... My mother cannot walk that far, so wondering if there would be a taxi at the train station? And then one at Teatra Graco to take back. I just wasn't sure if those are locations they would typically be able to be found. I hate to spend $100 each to just get there and back.
