Transfers have always been part of our EZair even without a pre or post hotel. Princess rep meets you at baggage, check your documents it will state this or in some cases a baggage area between terminals.

Thank you, we always arrive the day before and never used transfer. Happy sailing!

2. Hi all,

We booked through a travel agent. Trying to figure out if I can still purchase the Princess transfers. It says it must be done through our travel agent on the website. We are booking airfare through Princess and arriving on the day of embarkation to London. Not my idea, but my travel companions are on a tight budget and don't want to spend the extra night at the hotel. We will be on a non-stop from Chicago to London, arriving at 6:30 AM. Does anyone know what time the shuttles start? Thank you for your help and happy sailing.

3. Hello All,

My husband and I just booked a Transatlantic cruise.  We have not sailed in quite a while. I just found out I will have to work part of the cruise. I know understandably, they have made several changes to our benefits. Does D+ still have discounted or free internet? I'm not sure if I should purchase the internet before we leave or wait until on board.

Thank you so much and happy sailing all,

Candy

I have 14229. It is right under the pool deck. This is our preferred spot.

Central park is located mid ship. Boardwalk is located aft.

Hello,

Have you stayed in this cabin before? We have this booked for a TA and wondering if because we are higher up, we will have more breeze. We usually do an ocean view balcony but couldn't pass on the price difference. Even with the diamond plus discount it would have been almost double. Thanks so much for your response. Candy

5. Thank you so much everyone, for all the replies. Since this is a 12 day cruise and our first MSC experience, we have decided to stick with the balcony. We want to give it the full experience and since we always stay in a balcony with Royal, an outside suite wouldn't be the same.

6. Hello Cruisers,

We are new to MSC and currently have an aft balcony booked on a 12 night on the Splendida . We just got an upgrade offer for a forward suite. The minimum bid is $200 pp. I looked thru the threads but didn't find any information. Anybody stayed in these rooms? What did you think? We have been on lots of Royal sailing and I have seen their forwards but they are only outsides and not suites. Thanks so much for your help. Candy

I personally would stay in Hamburg. My baggage could be delayed on flight for example, or my flight is late at all. If the weather is bad - cloudy like on most days -, Hamburg is a much better place - compared to Kiel - for activities, and if the weather is good, you're really a lucky one!

Transportation from Hamburg to Kiel: at least 2 trains per hour; journey duration less than 1½ hrs

See my Hamburg-Gallery and thread JMHamburg and others please help with Hamburg for more information.

EDIT: During 'Harbor Birthday' 08 to 10 May 2020, hotels may be outsold!

Thank you so much for the advice. I have looked at your photos they are beautiful and will start to read your thread. Also, a very big thank you about the birthday. I want to book our hotels ASAP. Since our cruise leaves on Thursday, would you recommend coming in 1 or 2 days early? I have never booked a long vacation this early in the year. I will have to check out how many days of PTO I will have available. Work always getting in the way of life.

Have a fantastic day,

Candy

8. Hello everyone, we are considering doing a 5 day Cuba sailing. We have been sailing on long Transatlantics for the last several years. We are diamond plus so used to some of the long cruise perks. We will probably be on the Majesty or Empress. We sailed each of them years ago. I know there aren't special lounges. I just use them for the coffee machine. However, do they still offer the free drinks, laundry and internet on a 5 night? Thanks so much in advance for all your help and Happy Sailing.

9. I understand auto spell check drives me crazy! July 23 of this year! You should look into it! Dawn
Thanks, I just did. Yes the price for a balcony is really a big difference. Not sure this will work. We are doing a TA later in the year that's using most of our vacation time. Husband is turning 50 and just decided to look into a quick Cuba instead of a party. Enjoy your trip.

10. Hello thanks in advance for you help. We are looking at arriving by plane into Iceland at 7 am and taking the 1 am flight to Copenhagen. It will be about an 17 hour layover. I have contacted a couple of tour companies but wonder if this is something we can do on our own. We have never been to your fine country and would like to see what we can. If you think it would be better we can also take a 7:45 am flight and spend a night in a hotel. Have a fantastic day, Candy

11. Hello fellow cruisers. We will be sailing on the Navigator and will be overnighting in Oslo and looking for suggestions on a good place for dinner. We are foodies from Chicago and love to eat out when we travel. We try and take in as much culture as we can while we are in port.

Thanks so much for your help in advance.

12. Bamboo massage is very similar to hot stone. It's a full body massage where warm pieces of bamboo are used to massage and relax your muscles. I find hot stone too hot but love bamboo. I'm a massage therapist and have had several. Enjoy it.

13.
She finishes up in San Juan tomorrow, then empty to Freeport. Her next cruise is a TA from Miami on April 20th. Repair the fixipod, usual dry dock hull painting, etc. General replacement of worn items. I'll let the RCI regulars answer for any upgrades they've heard about, I don't know.
We are sailing on her April 9th for a 4 day to the Bahamas. Unless you know something we haven't been told yet.:D

Happy sailing, Candy
14. We did this tour with Alana on our Navigator 2013 TA in November. There were so many of us interested she did 2 groups for us at different times. This tour was fantastic. We had been to Nassau many times before, and this was by far our best experience. I would recommend Tru Bahamian to anyone. The food, the history and of course our fellow tour mates were all top notch.

15. This is so exciting. I am 14 points shy of becoming D+ which meant that I would reach that status in the middle of my 7 + 14 B2B in Nov. With this change I should get 14 points for the 7 day leg which would mean I am D+ for the second leg. I'm going to call C&A today to see how I can activate this status for the second cruise.

Yes my friend, please find out as I'm in the same boat and will be on the same ship. We can do it together. :D

Happy sailing, Candy
