Maybe give each child a budget and they can decide what they want, two sodas or a Mocktail, a mocktail or a fancy hot chocolate, as examples. Remind them that the price they see on the menu doesn’t include the gratuity which they will have to allow for in their budget.
This is a good idea too... I think at most they would have 2 soda and 2 or 3 mocktails a day. I don't mind paying but what I don't want to see is it start to get watered down in the hot sun or placed somewhere and forgotten about. lol

What do they normally drink during the day, with meals, or when out playing? How much of that is included at no cost? If they are happy with milk, hot chocolate, lemonade, fruit punch, apple juice and OJ from the dispensers they are included. If they drink a lot of water during the day bring a water bottle and fill it from the dispensers in the Oceanview cafe,
Then you can pay by the drink for the occasion soda and mocktails.
Sounds like a plan!! Thank you for your time and answering 🙂

That's all on you where you think the value would be with your kids drinking.
I don't see them drinking over $400.00 worth of sodas. I'm thinking if I pay by the drink it might be somewhere around $200. The package in my view would be convenience and not having a bill at the end of the trip.

On our recent Beyond cruise a soda or a bottle of water was about 5 bucks. You can used that to do the math. In the OVC you can get ice tea, lemonade, fruit punch, apple juice etc for free most anytime. Unless your kids want Mocktains I don't see the value in the package but that is me.
They do love mocktails!!! lol Do you happen to know off hand what they were charging for those?

Looking for opinions on what to do??? $26.99(per day) X 2(kids) X 8(days) = $431.84 total 🤪
This seems like a lot. For those of you who have been on resent cruises with Celebrity should I just pay by the drink for them??
Thank you.

Try the website using an incognito or InPrivate window. Generally the website only works wells for me when I do that.
I will give that a try. Thank you.

Have you tried using a different browser? Or at least not booking on a weekend? The site never seems to work on weekends.
Yes, I have but I'll try again. Thank you.

I have tried for a week to book an excursion, to have the website and the app tell me...( hang tight website is busy or we are adding fun check back later to just this can't be processed you will have to call to book.) I called last Sunday and today. Again, at first the associate says no problem I can book that for you. Then they get to the end of the transaction and they can't complete it. Then they tell me IT is aware of the issue. When I say well when I first told you about what was going on at my end you acted like it was new and now you are telling me the whole company can't book for anyone. Just trying to see if the real story is out there somewhere. Maybe IT can be more helpful during week day hours.

March and April cruises, at least back, then would typically jump from under 30 to a couple hundred kids onboard. If it is their Spring Break I would expect that to be true still.
Wow!!! That's a lot. We are in MA so it's the middle of April for us this year. We have a dinner booked for the first night hopefully they won't miss too much of the meet and greets. Thank you for your response.

I worked for Celebrity as youth staff and a general rule of thumb, if school is in session there will be fewer kids onboard. Back then, at least, it would average less than 30 kids after the fall semester began.
We also took the 10 night Greece, Italy, Montenegro, and Croatia in June 2022. We were both late 30’s at the time. That was best cruise we have ever been on. Admittedly it was only 2/3 full but it was the ports that really made the trip. The ship itself, Reflection, had a good mix of folks and was also really incredible. I highly recommend it.Hi, Can you tell me about your experiences with April vacation? I'm hoping there will be enough kids for my 9 and 14 year old to play with in the kids clubs. Thank you

Zero-Proof Package: Does the pre-cruise pricing ever get any better then the 10% off? I have watched for months and I have only ever seen the 10% while every other drink package has fluctuated between 20% and 45% off.
Zero Proof or pay by the drink... kids 9 and 14
