I did the Anchorage to Vancouver in 2010. Hired a private van that accommodated 15 and shared with another family. The Ak Hwy 1 and 9 is a beautiful drive. I am taking my daughter's family in late May '24 and will be originating in Vancouver to Seward. I found one option from an individual who operates a transportation service to and from Seward/Anchorage. I have not reserved with this service but the contact I had was professional and should be good. Because it is an easy drive, I may rent a SUV or mini van to haul my crowd as my flight does not depart ANC until 9pm. Good luck in your search!

Will be monitoring. I will be arriving Seward May 31 and looking for ground transportation to ANC airport. I have traveled this land route from Anchorage to Seward 12 years ago. Not a bad drive and may consider renting a car in Seward and take time returning to ANC as flight does not depart later in the evening. Beautiful drive BTW!

Suggest you consider electronic issues rather than your account numbers.

Carnival will accept application for Military/Veteran Benefits by email attachment. Same should be true for "Shareholder Benefit"

I faxed mine in two days ago and re-faxed yesterday and today 10/20/17 for the 11/13 SFO-Hi. Grand Princess...I also called and spoke with a CSR named Elda who said their fax went down on 10/19/17 early PM PST...I inquired as to my status and of course she had no record of receiving. I used FaxZero the first two fax attempts and both were sent and received according to FaxZero. I faxed again today at a local office supply store. She said she has no idea if faxes sent yesterday PM through today would be received in their system.

I also snail mailed hard copies two days ago from the east coast so should be in Ca. early next week.

Elda told me that it was a Carnival policy that they would not accept email with attached shareholder files. Reason was security. That statement was difficult to digest and since all account numbers are required to be blacked out I cannot understand why the company will not accept email attachment. For a company that prides itself on customer service. The above is no excuse IMHO!!!

That form shows only accepting requests via fax or snail mail.

If your printer is also a scanner, try using FaxZero.com to fax it from your computer. I used it last week (as recommended on another thread). It's very simple to use and lets you know when your send has been successful. I got a send receipt within a few minutes after I sent it last weekend and the OBC was posted to my account by mid-day on Monday.

You did a terrific travelogue and the information provided on your previous trips to the islands were very helpful and informative. This is my second trip to the islands having traveled there on our honeymoon in '74.

Appreciate your information on the lack of a transfer at the conclusion of your tour. When cruising domestically I usually handle my own arrangements. I noted that you utilized Super Shuttle back to SFO. Have never used this company but I have them booked round trip when I arrive for my cruise in November 13, '17. I have always found on cruises that most travelers are in a rush to board and equally harried to disembark. Because my flight leaves late afternoon on disembarkation day I plan to do as I have on most cruises, have a leisurely breakfast (last opportunity to be pampered) and take my time leaving the ship. I have a Super Shuttle scheduled for pick up at 11AM. Once again, thank you for the detailed report. Please thank DW for being so patient!
